Both were born into wealth and benefited enormously from their fathersโ multimillion-dollar businesses. Ford left high school before graduating and later left college without completing his program. Both attack unions. Both pick fights with teachers and public-sector workers. Both favour expanding privatization in healthcare and education. Both champion cutting โred tape,โ including environmental regulations that protect our land and water. Both favour powerful corporate interests. And both have pushed for more jail or prison capacity.
The similarities are getting a little uncomfortable, Doug.
