First of all all I care about is Jalen’s health. He’s young and deserves the opportunity to play basketball especially after the last 2 years. Second of all, FUCK James capers and his crew tonight who I blame fully for this happening.

OKC just shed a ton of bench depth for tax reasons. Don’t think we’ll adjust to no JDub as well as we did last year

Already seeing ignorant comments about JDub being injury prone. Let’s be clear…Tonight was a reckless and unnecessary FLAGRANT FOUL by Kris Dunn. Players who are “made of glass” take nights off when they could play, and aren’t tough. That’s the OPPOSITE of Dub. Dub played through a wrist injury and dropped 40 in the NBA Finals two years ago. Last year, Dub had hamstring issues that came about because he wasn’t able to get into full game shape after the wrist surgery & rehab…and probably pushed to come back from the right and left hamstrings too early all three times last season. Dub finally had time to fully recover over this past offseason, and has had ZERO hamstring issues so far this season. Dub was looking like himself again. Tonight, Dub got shoved in the back while he was airborne. It had nothing to do with any of his previous injuries, and would have been a dangerous landing for every player in the league. (Different type of play, but reminiscent of when Patrick Beverley made an unnecessary and reckless play on Russell Westbrook that cost the Thunder a ring back in 2013.) So, please ignore the ignorant narratives that are out there… It’s a devastating loss, but Dub is a WARRIOR that will come back better than ever.

The type of plays that the refs allowed all game which directly led to the Jalen Williams injury. Yes it was a freak accident, but the refs swallowing their whistle all night are responsible for it, and at a more foundational level so are the morons on this app.

Teams assassinating our players is the only reason this hasn’t been a dynasty and we somehow have a reputation for being favored by the refs

NBA officials have been so indoctrinated by anti-OKC narratives that they completely let the Clippers game get out of control, resulting in Dub's injury. If you allow a team to consistently get fouled without calling it, this is what happens. Fuck NBA officials.

That’s his brother right there Say all you want about how “corny” OKC is, but this is the closest you’ll ever see a team to being an actual family
SGA Is In Tears On The Bench After Seeing Jalen Williams Get Put On A Stretcher. That's His Guy. You Can See How Much He Cares. This Is Absolutely Devastating. 💔

I don’t think it’s a curse at all, I think players are being told to hard foul and the refs are just letting it happen
I think there’s an NBA Finals curse, go take a look at what’s happened to every NBA team in the past 7 years who’s been in the NBA Finals

Basketball wise, Ajay steps into the starting lineup and plays a bigger role on the ball McCain is asked to do more for the 2nd unit, Stirtz probably gets more run Chet is going to have to scale up offensively, and defensively we are going to really be hurting when matched up against the leagues best wings

After extensive tests today, Tyquan Thornton is expected back within 12 to 16 weeks, sources say. He’ll have surgery within the week and there is a real chance at a late-season or playoff return.

Jalen Williams got a needle in his wrist before every single playoff game for two months, kept it quiet, and won Oklahoma City a championship. Tonight, three games into the comeback, he got wheeled off on a stretcher while Shai hid his face in his jersey. The wrist went on April 9, 2025, in a regular season game against Phoenix. He tore the ligament that holds two of the small bones in his wrist together, and he said it sounded like paper ripping. He put off surgery and decided to play through it, which meant figuring out how to shoot a basketball with a wrist that felt like it was on fire. A normal jump shot ends with your wrist snapping forward, every single time. So right before the playoffs, he rebuilt his shot to come off his fingertips with barely any follow-through. The tape stayed hidden under his shooting sleeve. By his count he took 28 or 29 shots in that wrist over the playoffs, a numbing shot before every game. He played all 23 games. There was a stretch against Denver where he went 10 for 43 and got killed for it by people who had no idea what was going on. He answered with 24 in Game 7 of that series, then 40 in Game 5 of the Finals, and OKC won it all in seven. Then it all caught up with him. Surgery a week after the parade. A second procedure to pull a screw out of the wrist, which pushed his return back. Then a hamstring that kept going on him. He missed 49 games last season, played in only 5 of OKC's 15 playoff games, and watched the Thunder lose the West finals to San Antonio in seven. So this season was the do-over. It's the first year of the five-year deal worth up to $287 million he signed in July 2025, which is a lot of money for a kid who left high school in Gilbert, Arizona, with three Division I offers and ended up at Santa Clara. He had 8 points, 5 assists and 2 steals tonight when he drove with 1:14 left, got fouled, and came down on his left leg. The training staff had a towel over it within seconds. They called for the stretcher almost right away, the game stopped for about five minutes, and guys on both teams just stood there in shock. Shai went to the line and shot the free throws for him. After the game he tried to talk about it on TV and only got as far as "Just feel bad for him. Nothing more than that." There's no word yet on what it is. Daigneault said the team gets briefed tomorrow morning, and that they're not doing great. On his way out, in an air cast, he turned to the crowd and gave them two thumbs up while the whole building chanted J-Dub. Same guy who took a needle before every playoff game and never said a word, still trying to make everybody else feel better on the way out.
J-Dub suffered a GRUESOME injury SGA was in TEARS 💔

Clippers fans tryna justify that Kris Dunn didn’t shove Jdub in the back
Kris Dunn shoved JDub in the back while he was airborne, causing him to land hard on his back with his leg bending awkwardly out of place. Kris Dunn also undercut Shai on a fast break, causing him to twist his ankle and limp afterward. You need to be investigated, sir. You’re officially on PERMANENT hate watch
