In a day and age when sports analytics are all the rage, why are we ignoring the most obvious stats?
Statistically, Jared Goff has been the best QB since 2023. Better than Mahomes, Allen, Lamar.
Yet the sports media ignores the stats because Goff doesn’t pass the “eye test.”
The only people “sleeping” on Jared Goff are the national media and the sports fans outside Detroit who they tell what to think. @Lions fans who watch Goff could tell you he’s been playing like this for the last few years. It’s nothing new.

While I appreciate that the national media is finally paying attention to what Jared Goff is doing in Detroit, why are we still calling him a “sleeper” MVP candidate when he’s quite literally having one of the best QB seasons of all-time? He should be at the top of the list!
SEVEN THINGS
🔹If this Chiefs loss spurs them to trade action, good
🔹There's a Jared Goff MVP case to be made
🔹And a Kevin Stefanski 3x COTY one, too
🔹Jonah Coleman hype
...and more!

Jared Goff was better than Jordan Love before this game, but if that wasn’t enough for you, he clearly outplayed Love both statistically and got the win. But you still have him below Love?
We all knew Brian Branch would provide a boost, but the secondary was so bad, I doubted one man could fix it.
Then, some other guys started stepping up, and now if it continues, we don’t need a phenomenal secondary, just an average one and we could be Super Bowl contenders.
To be fair, I’ve been to a lot more airports than a normal person.
Off the top of my head, Singapore is widely regarded as the best in the world.
I also like Frankfurt.
But my favorite was Doha. They have the most amazing airport lounge I’ve ever seen.
Detroit’s a great airport. My favorite part is the new Buddy’s Pizza they added for people on layovers, so they don’t have to leave the airport to try Detroit pizza. But I wouldn’t say it’s the best airport I’ve ever been to.
I looked this up. It’s listed as a 4/2, but where are you seeing it listed as a 2/2? I think it’s a duplex, so I’m not sure they’d be willing to sell the two units individually or if you’d want to own 1/2 of a duplex? But if you buy the whole thing it’s twice the price.
My mom just told me about this! Her and my little brother did it one time and my little brother had so much fun now he does it every time!
I think these were emergency lines for hotels like if you were having a heart attack — or ran out of toilet paper 🤷♂️
Maybe Dan’s subconscious said “three more,” but what he was referring to were these two near misses plus the Branch INT?
Dan’s call wasn’t about guts.
You have the NFL’s best offense, which gives you a high chance of converting 4th-and-2, OR a decent chance to scoring if you get the ball back.
But the worst defense. If GB gets the ball, they’ll drive the length of the field and run out the clock.
I’m gonna guess Derrick Barnes’ pick against @bakermayfield in the playoffs might’ve got the crowd going a little louder.
Just a little.
But this one was still great to see. So happy to have @BrianBB_1 back.
Lol give me a break. The @Lions have ended up on the wrong side of way more calls over the years.
Just rename him Trey WACK right now.
Just SMH 🤣, two CHIP shot miss field goals for the Packers!

The media clearly jinxed him this week when everyone finally noticed and started talking about it. But to his credit, Goff overcame the jinx.
