Karpathy just open-sourced autoresearch. One GPU. 100 ML experiments. Overnight. You never touch the code — just write a Markdown file. The bottleneck isn't compute. It's your program.md. gli.st/z3iakp3f

We love how this doomo doomonstrates real-time intelligence and what can be doone with code + AI! ~10 calls/sec = ~$7/hour

I was one of the VCs who faded Nate. @max0dte and I reached out to Nate after reading his analysis on Zora’s inherent liquidity issues. We were pretty impressed. I still remember spending a big part of our call discussing different launch mechanics. I really liked him as a founder and thought he was incredibly insightful, but the stock pair story still felt too problematic and not convincing enough to me at the time. I even skipped IC because I genuinely didn’t know how to pitch the story. Funny how things come full circle. Now I’m building a project and trying to solve some problems around heterogeneous pairs. Only now do I really understand what Nate was trying to do back then, and how clever some of his solutions actually were. He leveraged Robinhood momentum to solve, in an incredibly short period of time, several liquidity problems that looked almost impossible to solve, and built what I think is the most powerful launchpad on Robinhood. Very lucky to have witnessed the whole journey and I hope Nate can take LONG all the way.
gLONG Even now. The market is still extremely underpricing the LONG eco. Keeping the underdog mindset is important we don’t get comfy at any point we keep pushing against all resistance. Reminds me of how at the end of last year I pitched stock pairs to plenty of crypto VCs and got 0 follow ups. But we kept moving. Understand this: the Long community owns one of the most powerful ideas in crypto’s history(arguably in finance) we have the conviction to push higher and stronger. We will win. LONG.

this is very true in 2026 u don’t think about how to create new asset class instead u give new lives to old assets
FOMO is the Friendtech of 2026, except you remove the dark undercurrent of "why are the <things being traded> valuable longterm?" Friendtech had to deal with users propping up their key values with a bunch of different tactics (alpha, fees/buybacks, activity in chat, etc) and it got REALLY tiring. FOMO doesn't have that problem because all the assets are external to the platform/creators. Then you preserve all the other fun parts: - Social elements of monitoring your friends trades and being in one together - Reputational impacts of when/where someone buys/sells (e.g. if they copytrade farm) They've also just done well to abstract the chains entirely so people don't have to deal with the cultish groupthink of individual ecosystems. When you hear the dialog around the app it even has the same conversation around "native" users getting outsized influence relative to established personalities on X, which is the exact same convo's we were having on Friendtech when random users would have key values 2-3x that of large CT accounts. It's the sign of a net-new social graph taking shape (bullish). If they add trading groups and tokenize access to them this thing probably goes to the parabolic even more than it already is because you introduce net-new asset creation and the insane wealth effects that come with it.

Releasing the model weights and technical report of Kimi K3. Kimi K3 is our most capable model: a 2.8T MoE model with native visual understanding and a 1M-token context window. New model architecture: 2.5x the intelligence per unit of compute, not just more params. Alongside Kimi K3, we're opening up more of the stack behind it — high-performance attention kernels, MoE communication library, and infrastructure for running agent environments at scale. Our thoughts on the importance of AI sovereignty. 1. Your AI sovereignty dictates your institution’s future. Sovereignty is the precondition for choice. Relinquishing sovereignty transfers the future choices of your institution to others, who are likely to exploit it for their gain and your loss. 2. Data retention is your treasure. Transfer it at your own peril. Your ability to win is dictated by your ability to recognize and use your unique edges, and you keep winning by compounding the underlying data to generate new insights. Transferring that data hands over access to your pre-existing winning plays and yields the means of production for new ones. 3. Tokenmaxxing hijacks your value orientation and decreases your institutional fortitude and intelligence. The pursuit of high token usage incentivizes disposable scripts over robust software — with the addictive feeling of false progress. There is a reason why those selling tokens refuse to charge based on value. 4. Controlling your weights is controlling your fate. Weights are the distilled form of hard-won, accumulated institutional knowledge. If you let others control your weights, you are allowing them to migrate the alpha of your business to theirs. 5. There is no contradiction between sovereignty and alpha. The architecture that maximally preserves sovereignty is one that enables institutions to own their tribal knowledge, and to compound it as alpha. 6. Politicizing the technical issues involving sovereignty is what your adversary wants. Techno-politicization is the wellspring of false sovereignty. Techno-politicization drives decisions that seem to reduce dependency, but ultimately limit agency — especially on the battlefield in the West. 7. Real expertise is existential. Allowing politics or favoritism to determine your technical decisions rewards whoever is best at politics, not whoever is right. Listen to those closest to the problems, not those speaking most compellingly about them. 8. Learn from institutions that are winning or that have consistently delivered. Institutions facing existential threats do not have the luxury of making technical decisions based on political preferences. 9. Only listen to institutions, countries, and people who have a proven record of being right. A track record of correctness is the best and only signal for future correctness. Judging something as right or wrong based on who you like is exceedingly misguided.

Traded is now backed by Colosseum 💫 We started building earlier this year with one bet: the next era of collecting happens onchain, and someone needs to build the consumer surface for it. Headed to SF for the @colosseum accelerator to scale the product, deepen integrations across web3 and web2 platforms, and onboard the next million collectors onchain. Big thanks to @SuperteamINDO and @superteam for the support and community since day one. Big things ahead. Let's make onchain collecting fun. tcg/acc 🫡
