A mistake isn’t necessarily a failure of learning. Sometimes it’s evidence of learning. #TOVO

In Spain watching World Champion & European Champion young men and women train in line with Johan Cruyff’s (and TOVO’s) aporoach to development. ▪️But some guy in Ohio just feels from his high school glory days that the same training that limited his potential is best for his son? ▪️ Some Scottish guy in Arizona can’t be bothered to consider better? ▪️ Some coach in Connecticut who won the U10 Strawberry Festival seven years ago understands skill development? Seriously? Find a dynamic and innovative coach that understands how children flourish best. Time for the status quo to go. Let’s do better. 🙏 #TOVO #intelligentfootball

I’ll say it.. Men’s Football 🇺🇸 ▪️US pundits (many of them former players) are the death of US potential. They are not top-top international stars. They are not brilliantly intelligent, skillful players and never were. That is OK and not diminishing that they were and are the best we have to offer. They played where they could - respect to them for that. But when they comment, they see the game in the limited way they played the game and that is nowhere near good enough to be at the top of the game globally. Example upon example. Comment upon comment. We need a complete paradigm shift. Let’s go. 👏 #TOVO #intelligentfootball
