I really don’t want to have to write this today. But I need help. Today is not a good day. Honestly, I’m struggling more than I know how to say. I’m fighting cancer, trying to get through treatment, dealing with the aftermath of losing my insurance in the middle of all of this, and watching the financial situation around me get worse by the day. The bills don’t stop because I have cancer. Treatment doesn’t stop. Rent doesn’t stop. My car payment doesn’t stop. Medication, appointments, everything keeps adding up—and I’m exhausted from trying to figure out how I’m going to make it all work. And this is the part I hate most…I need to ask for help. I’m putting my pride aside today because I’ve reached a point where I can’t pretend I’m okay or that I can handle everything on my own.
