I've opened up my cynical heart and shared my death with the world. It has already been widely praised as "a great read" on leading psychedelic forums and that's a group you can definitely trust. medium.com/@victimsofcomics/…

People stay in a western hotel and then say it’s Japan. I’ve never been blinded so much by the big lights as I was in rural Japanese homes.
I love how the Japanese do lighting. It seems like everywhere you go, it's low and warm lighting. It's pleasant.

Calls The Beatles “formulaic”… yeah that caveman really invented fire really generically.
*deep inhale* Guys, it’s The Beatles. Formulaic music that got hyped into genius status by a perfect storm of timing and savvy media, not actual skill. Expert exploitation of trends already pioneered by others. They’re a marketing phenomenon that got called the greatest because they sold a lot of records to herd-mentality teenagers, not because the music itself was ever the most advanced, demanding, or enduring rock ever made.

Some great tunes on the new Fontaines, but not sure it’s a solid album. Same with Romance. Skinty Fia was 10/10 for me. Not that anyone asked.

The middle class was a 50-year fluke designed to stop communism during the Cold War. The threat is gone, so the elites are taking it apart. You're not falling behind. You're being pushed back into peasantry.

I hate to say it, but it is genuinely over if you worked in design/creative in SaaS.

It’s performative as much as being alive is.
original tweet is generational but there’s something so unsettling about scottish people performatively typing in an accent

When I lived in rural Japan I remember being sad because I knew the farmer honesty boxes wouldn’t work at home because everyone is such a fucking cunt.
I can’t believe they actually used the ATM ripper technique on an egg money box. £3,000 worth of damage for… nothing. Best they could have hoped for was £30. The safe was empty. There was a sign on it saying no cash payments, they only take card.

All these fake jobs with big money that I, a sexy lumberjack, morally decided not to pursue.
My lady makes 300k a year for a corporation. She is always highly stressed, going through high stakes negotiations. she shows me whatever she is working on, it looks like a power point slide made by a 5th grader and I wonder if she could make it through a shift at a lumber yard

The ambitious friends are in denial.
Clear AI trend I'm seeing: My ambitious friends are working longer hours than ever. My 9-5 friends are happily coasting more than ever.
