Claude Science is incredible. I gave it some sequencing data, and in 8 hours it did a full analysis, generated figures, wrote a paper, submitted it for publication, got rejected, revised and resubmitted, got rejected again, it is now applying for positions in industry

You don't feel great during your best writings.
You don't feel great when you are about to make the best investment of your life.
You don't feel great when you are about to make a lifelong commitment that will change your perspective.
You don't feel great when you are about to move abroad and rebuild your life from scratch.
You don't feel great during a tough workout that makes you stronger.
You don't feel great when you are reading a difficult book that makes you wiser.
You don't feel great when you are solving a painful problem that makes you smarter.
You don't feel great when you disagree with people who had previous successes, but who are probably wrong this time.
You don't feel great when you are breaking up with the average version of yourself.
It's actually recommended to not feel great; that's when the best things in life happen.

Agency > Intelligence
I had this intuitively wrong for decades, I think due to a pervasive cultural veneration of intelligence, various entertainment/media, obsession with IQ etc. Agency is significantly more powerful and significantly more scarce. Are you hiring for agency? Are we educating for agency? Are you acting as if you had 10X agency?
Grok explanation is ~close:
“Agency, as a personality trait, refers to an individual's capacity to take initiative, make decisions, and exert control over their actions and environment. It’s about being proactive rather than reactive—someone with high agency doesn’t just let life happen to them; they shape it. Think of it as a blend of self-efficacy, determination, and a sense of ownership over one’s path.
People with strong agency tend to set goals and pursue them with confidence, even in the face of obstacles. They’re the type to say, “I’ll figure it out,” and then actually do it. On the flip side, someone low in agency might feel more like a passenger in their own life, waiting for external forces—like luck, other people, or circumstances—to dictate what happens next.
It’s not quite the same as assertiveness or ambition, though it can overlap. Agency is quieter, more internal—it’s the belief that you *can* act, paired with the will to follow through. Psychologists often tie it to concepts like locus of control: high-agency folks lean toward an internal locus, feeling they steer their fate, while low-agency folks might lean external, seeing life as something that happens *to* them.”

Customer support is a very personal moment for the user. They are in a trouble and they need assistance. Therefore, the support must be more reliable than the product they have a problem with. A chatbot will never be reliable in all circumstances, just like a self-driving car will never be reliable in all countries and road conditions.

No, we haven't. The militarization of the American justice system is terrible. Also, every one of these people is alive, not in jail, and will get a full trial with appeals process. Navalny was poisoned, then falsely sentenced to 30+ years in the Gulag, and then likely murdered.
