I took time to watch Rigathi Gachagua on Kiririmbi last evening. The most disturbing thing is for a leader at this level to say that he will move to his home in America if Ruto wins. What about millions of Kenyans who do not have that privelege? The unfortunate thing is that my brother Riggy G is blaming some phantom Mt Kenya disunity for that eventuality. What he is not telling Kikuyus is that managing the opposition alliance is like that man who was Crossing the river with a goat, a leopard and grass. You leave two wrong items together and they eat each other. There is no unity formula that will make Kalonzo, Sifuna and Matiangi work together. And Riggy G should stop guilt tripping Kikuyus for that. It is not our fault

Man what have I just watched? I believe Jacob Juma MUST have been killed because of the Eurobond question. See for yourselves how Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto messed up this country immediately after signing into law the ammended Public Finance Management Act. The first Eurobond, $2B (Ksh 200B that time), only Ksh 60B was spent on Thika Superhighway. Ksh 140B disappeared and they even called a press conference to call those asking questions, "Wajinga." At the end of the clip, there is something @OkiyaOmtatah is saying that you also need to listen to.

Nakuru county government needs to be serious! Fire at Gioto dumping site has been smoldering for weeks, with little attempts to stop it, in the meantime, waste pickers working there and nearby communities are continually being exposed to pollution which can adversely affect their health. I have also noticed garbage slowly spreading beyond the landfill boundaries. Surely, why do we even have an environment department, is their work only to attend climate conferences in air conditioned hotels while residents choke from toxic fumes?

Something happened at Cape Town airport that got me thinking about the Kenyan passport. I was asked to interpret for seven Kenyan passport holders. Only 2 could speak Kiswahili, prompting officers to question their identities.

Mohamed Haji alias Macalin Ilkacase was a college teacher. Hassan Hanafi was a top journalist in Mogadishu. Nageye Khalif was a respected somali poet. They were all undercover Al Shabaab commanders.
Samira you are a security expert, dont define people by their day duties, you have no idea what they do at night and under the cover of darkness in the streets of Mogadishu.
These are Somali journalists with substantial public profiles and large followings. Establishing their identities and obtaining reliable, conclusive information about them should have been relatively straightforward through basic verification.
It is very concerning that their photos are publicly posted without providing any context or clarification.
