Depressing but very true Texas has created over a million more jobs than California since 2019 (the gap is even larger if you strip out the expansion in government + home health care “jobs” in CA) Meanwhile, Newsom has a record of depopulation, NEGATIVE private sector employment, tied for highest unemployment rate, highest SPM poverty rate, and CA is home to 8 of the 13 worst MSAs in the nation in terms of unemployment None of this mattered When they get into power, Democrats build machines to win elections forever; while Republicans try to govern if they get a chance The machine wins in the long run
The Youngkins and Abbotts and Kemps were great for Line Go Up. Fantastic for it. “Oh we’re open for business, buddy, bring your liberal business and employees and values here, you’ll love it!” But the cost of Line Go Uppism is leftists taking complete control. Is it worth it?

California’s electricity is 32.6¢/kWh. Only Hawaii is worse. Nobody could have predicted that green mandates, renewable portfolio standards, wildfire liability schemes, regulatory capture over reliable affordable power, and endless climate justice lectures would lead to this. Meanwhile, Nevada next door is 13.4¢. Same grid region and climate challenges, but completely different policy choices.

The @sfchronicle dismissed warnings about out-of-town drug tourists abusing SF welfare and camping in public spaces as “pure myth” for a decade, and now they are saying “haha oops we lied.” The Chron has been instrumental in defending SF’s institutional rot.

Hey @GavinNewsom @GovPressOffice , do you support your University of California Board of Regents appointee calling for the murder of Elon Musk? Does the @UCregentboard approve of threats of murder by their board members?
.@profgalloway of @ProfGMarkets, @PivotPod, @voxdotcom and @NYMag is doubling down: he wants Elon executed. There is no justification for calling for murder in civil society. You support this @Bankoff?

Gene Wu is what we call a boba lib - a high-status Asian progressive who is soft on crime, for open borders, and exploits racial grievances to dismantle America which he says is defined by white supremacy and racism. Unsurprisingly, like all woke Asians, he has nothing to say at all about America's geopolitical rival. Wu goes way further. He was involved with the Houston Chinese consulate which Trump shut down in 2020 due to subversive espionage activity. His father has been linked to a group of former Red Guards from Mao's Cultural Revolution era who spout pro-CCP propaganda. He is a fifth columnist and he is now the leader of the Texas House of Representatives.
This is Gene Wu, the new Majority Leader of the Texas House of Representatives.

Few comprehend the sheer dimwittedness of the new DSA mayor of LA, as it’s been overshadowed by the actions & inactions of the mayor she defeated, which led directly to large swaths of LA burning down. Below she boasts of getting a crosswalk painted. It took her 9 months.
The Los Feliz Neighborhood Council alerted our office in late 2025 to the need for a crosswalk at Sunset Dr. and Bates St., which has just been completed! Thank you to our incredible CD4 Field Team for continuing to problem-solve, push for solutions, and make our streets safer.

Let me tell you something absolutely BONKERS from last night’s midterms… Democrat Ericka Lomick just “won” Texas House District 93 despite being a convicted felon who suspended her campaign months ago. She pleaded guilty in 2011 to federal charges including mortgage-fraud conspiracy, bank fraud, and money laundering. Her sentence? 63 months in federal prison. On her candidate paperwork, she checked the box claiming she had not been finally convicted of a felony. After her criminal record surfaced in September, she suspended her campaign and stopped running. But Texas election deadlines had already passed, so her name remained on the ballot for both the regular general election and the special election. And voters still elected her by roughly 51–49%. Here’s the kicker: Under Texas law, a final felony conviction generally makes someone ineligible to hold office unless they’ve been pardoned or had their disabilities released. Meaning she can’t actually serve. Her “victory” simply creates a vacancy and triggers yet another special election. A convicted federal fraudster who quit campaigning still got elected to the Texas House. Let that absolutely sink in.

I think it's very important to realize that there is a small but quickly growing faction of the political spectrum that will cheer when -- your family Tesla gets firebombed -- a CEO gets executed in the street -- a podcaster is murdered at a college debate event -- a candidate for POTUS is shot in the head -- the world's greatest entrepreneur is publicly threatened with execution at a fairly mainstream event

🧵 Is this @DailyMail @spccohen story why Gavin Newsom's spiraling? The First Partner can't be happy that some of her friends spilled that she's jealous of Lindsey Cobia, confirming what some of us have reported for 5 yrs. And now we know why Lindsey was transferred to Becerra's campaign! "Jen told people she felt Lindsey was obsessed with her husband" "It's the worst kept secret in CA politics...the long-simmering tension between Lindsey and the First Partner"
