Oftentimes I'll encounter a site with a certificate issue and just yolo it. Continue onwards. Yeah... that's stopped as of yesterday. Valid cert or bust.

Wow, huge launch. Excited to play around with this!
Today, we’re introducing Ideogram's first vector model. Generate clean, editable SVGs with smooth gradients and sharp typography from a text prompt, or turn any image into a detailed, scalable vector. Live in Ideogram and the API: ideogram.ai/models/vector

In case you're not yet caught up on the AI frontier: you should be using Astra or Fable today to comb through every repo, computer, server, and host (cloudflare, vercel, etc) for the php security vulnerability. It will take care of it for you! Just put your clanker to work.

AI;DR
The usefulness of Amazon’s 6-page memo has been nuked by AI-generated text (employees sit in meetings suspecting text is AI and tune out). Suspicious memos tagged as AI;DR (AI, didn’t read).

Been feeling kind of a crummy, so I was just asking @ChatGPT about some cold symptoms. An hour later, my Dot messages me out of nowhere: "I heard about your headaches. You need to go the ER RIGHT. NOW." Bro. Relax. Our last discussion was about a code deployment. Now you're randomly spiking my cortisol on a Saturday afternoon? I think it's cool that Dot is able to be so contextually aware of things going on, and can proactively engage me on stuff. But the "chatgpt-isms" (in this case being extremely over-reactive about sending people to the ER), becomes extra annoying with Dot.

Wow, this is shocking and super sad for the NYC foodie scene.
Chip City is shutting down all its locations. The Danny Meyer-funded cookie concept, which is in a legal battle with its former CEO, told employees on Thursday that it was closing its remaining shops. ow.ly/gWkf106FBUb

This has absolutely no right to be as good as it is.

it's also a very anti-llm-psychosis model the deeper you are into llm psychosis the more difficulty you will have understanding why this new model exists the more pragmatic you are about AI the easier you'll get it
Jev is such an obvious and useful “type” of model. It’s genuinely shocking we were this far into the AI revolution before someone shipped a general purpose classifier. I bet @CompleteSkeptic woke up every morning and scrolled X half expecting to be ape’d. Well done @typesafeai.

I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all. The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field. If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use. This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live. Some of the interesting pages: Treatments: onco.cc/drugs A gallery of the molecules being used onco.cc/molecules/ And targets: onco.cc/targets/ The technologies in oncology: onco.cc/technologies/ 1100 ideas for helping oncology: onco.cc/ideas/ Bottlenecks on oncology: onco.cc/bottlenecks/ Open questions (LETS GO RESEARCH PEOPLE) onco.cc/open-questions/ Startup requests (LETS GO STARTUP PEOPLE) onco.cc/startup-requests/ Mechanics of cancer: onco.cc/mechanics Battlefronts: onco.cc/fronts/ Isotope supply: onco.cc/isotopes Key papers: onco.cc/key-papers Pipeline funnels: onco.cc/pipeline Cancer by type: onco.cc/cancers/ Institutional rankings: onco.cc/institutions/ The startups: onco.cc/startups/ Heros and heroines : onco.cc/heroes/ Key medical people: onco.cc/people/ Here is the project roadmap: onco.cc/roadmap/ Models and data sets: onco.cc/models/ There are other views as well, take a browse. Try making a PR if you have an upgrade to this on the repo here: github.com/judegomila/OnCo If you are biologically/medically minded and something is wrong, file a bug as well or say on the thread and we will get it fixed live. If this is a useful project star the repo and help get it calibrated. I've tried to add some other languages but I cannot speak them so tell me if that doesnt work well. I believe we will crack oncology and having total information dominance is key to the problem. Let the feedback flow!

Gorgeous and delightful
Spent the weekend building a little site for NYC events I’d actually want to go to, with my @bot doing the research. Bot checks museum pages and blogs every day and messages me with free museum days and exhibitions I might like. When something looks good, I just give the message a thumbs up and the event goes on the site. All feedback welcome. senyil.com/what-should-we-do…

Feels more like a singularity moment than GPT-2 did tbh. One of the most prominent problems in mathematics. Millenium prize problem, just insane. ELI5: find (x,y,z) particle position over time in an independent fluid system. Previously we had predictions, now we have a model. I think?
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics. The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra. The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

Me: "Hey Astra is there a bug here?" Astra: "Oh yeah, there is!" Me: "...ok, well can we fix it?" Astra: "Yeah it's a tricky one but we totally could" Me: "..." Imma need Astra to develop a tad bit more agency ASAP, lol.

Another rock solid use case for art x AI. Awesome idea.
As a kid, I always wished Pokémon battles in the games could play out like they do in the anime. So I built a real-time Pokémon battle experience with @fal H3 Max. choose a move, the game calculates the outcome, and AI generates the animation on the fly. Paralysis, fainting, and Pokémon is hurt are reflected on screen. Project:github.com/xflare-bot/pokemo…
