For the first time ever, Liverpool have played a Premier League match at Anfield without having a shot on target.

That tackle meant to hurt Dowman.
He won the ball very cleanly and tough. That’s fair.
But the scissor isn’t and if Dowmans leg gets stuck in the ground, that can be very serious.
He meant to stick one on Dowman. So it’s fair game for Dowman to react. And he didn’t react dangerously or kick. It’s more a shove with his leg.
Then a pathetic reaction from the Fleetwood players tbh. What bullies do. Instigate, pick on the little one, then cry wolf when there’s a reaction.
No common sense used here.

Games like tonight prove the point that dull Arsenal games in the PL are entirely down to opposition strategy. No shade. But let’s be honest about it.

The @premierleague should be referring the entire case to the CPS for criminal charges but especially those witnesses that the Commission accused of knowingly lying. If done so under oath (which I imagine it was) then that’s perjury.

Sunderland have been so nasty tonight. Kicking, diving, that Ballard pull down on Konsa to con the ref (not difficult with Brooks mind you).
Hope we don’t have to come back here in a cup.

Arteta box tick gesture to the 4th official is so good ffs. Social media influencing decisions obviously a very bad thing

Villa and Sunderland away was 1 point last season. It’s 6 already this season. Incredible.
All this comes the day after Kevin Keegan died by the way. Arsenal are not making any friends at #nufc and this is a very odd way to go about trying to sign the captain and most important player of another club. There are other words I could use about their behaviour but I’ll maintain a rare sense of decorum

Crucial for the goal.
Crossing and stopping transitions in consecutive actions.
Cutting balls out in his own box seconds later.

This is the default response to open corruption by most of American pundit class - Wiesenthal, Silver, etc. Detached, cynical quips. None of these people reacted to the massive scale of insider trading revealed just days ago. This is how a nation rots.
