All because she asked him to condemn a clearly bigoted ad and stop pushing the same divisive message himself.
But he can't because that's who he is. Stevens should put principles over party and publicly pull her support.

Doubling down and not condemning antisemitism.
We’ll see if that Sunday rally with Stevens, Clyburn and AES actually takes place.

Bizarre to attack someone because their parents supported them & went to their games. No wonder the interviewer immediately moved on.
El-Sayed went on this bizarre rant against Pete Hegseth -- claiming that Hegseth "rode the pine" in "whatever sport he played" in high school.
He invoked Hegseth's mother (moms are fair game now, huh?), and claimed she was "the type" who would have worn her son's jersey to games.
*Hegseth was an all-state point guard in high school in Minnesota, set various school records. He played college ball and got some floor time in the 2001 NCAA tournament. El-Sayed played club lacrosse at Michigan.*
Here's El-Sayed's animosity-filled diatribe against Hegseth:
"You know he would have rode the pine. He probably got to start 2 games his entire career, playing whatever sport it was."
"His parents came and cheered so hard for him."
"Bro, I feel bad for you. Somebody told you you're a lot better than you really are."
"There's something about being a brown kid whose parents...no matter what you do you're never enough."
"For him, the very fact that he made the team: his mom was making cake, she was wearing his jersey, she had a cap made for him. You know the type."

A Hilton Garden Inn in Canada built a mini-stick hockey rink in an unused corner of its underground parking garage. It's now fielding reservations from youth hockey teams years in advance.

Wow, Democrat Campaign Chair Suzan DelBene (D-WA) TORCHED by CNBC hosts over Democrat Mary Peltola election rigging scandal in Alaska 🎥
Andrew Ross Sorkin: “You don't believe the report at all?”
“You don't believe, You genuinely don't believe it happened. Do you want to know if it happened? ... As a human, as a citizen, if you're watching this play out and you say to yourself, this is crazy?”
For 4+ minutes, DelBene insists she believes Peltola & her campaign had NOTHING to do with placing a fake Dan Sullivan on the ballot after bombshell NYTimes investigation, complete with text message evidence, sparking multiple federal & criminal investigations
DelBene goes on a whataboutism tangent: “Well, the campaign has been clear that they deny what happened … Republicans from the very beginning have been set up trying to rig the system”
➡️Joe Kernen: “Chairwoman, it's good you got that, you know, not a lot of DelBenes around so you probably have, Democrats won't be able to find anyone to run against”

Pope Leo XIV has voted in the midterm elections of the United States, expressing his “belief in the right and the duty of citizens to participate in democratic processes.”
The Holy See Press Office announced on Friday that Pope Leo XIV, an American citizen, "has exercised his right to vote as a United States citizen, whenever he was eligible to do so."
The Press Office confirmed that, “in keeping with this long-standing practice of civic participation, he has submitted his mail-in ballot in Chicago.”
“The Holy Father has also confirmed that, during his years of residence in Peru he exercised his right to vote whenever he was eligible to do so,” noted the statement.

Lots of people are calling the Alaska "fake Dan Sullivan" scheme unethical but legal.
They haven't read the case law. Conspiring to trick voters into voting for the wrong candidate is a federal felony under 18 U.S.C. § 241. My full lawsplainer:

Mary Peltola will absolutely lose votes over her involvement in the decoy Dan scheme to mislead Alaska voters - and for lying about it.
Her entire value proposition to voters was a fresh face to shake up Washington corruption - now she looks as swampy and dishonest as anyone.
WATCH: @MattWhitlock blasts the corrupt Democrat scheme in Alaska to trick voters into voting for another “Dan Sullivan” and explains how it could hurt Mary Peltola:
“It really cuts into her value proposition as a candidate, being the sort of ‘fresh face, I’m going to take on corruption,’ and then being tied to what feels like a pretty corrupt scheme. And I think that it will cut into her pull with independent voters. I think she’s going to lose probably five, 7% of those people in a very tight race, because if you’re running to be the fresh face, taking on corruption, and you feel corrupt, I think that looks pretty bad for you.
...
I think the thing that’s going to hurt her the most, though, is lying about her involvement in it for the last several months. I think The New York Times having 12 sources on that is pretty damning.”

NEW: Pope Leo XIV is set to become the first sitting pontiff in the Catholic Church’s two-thousand-year history to vote in a secular election.
Leo requested an Illinois mail ballot on Oct. 3, and it was sent to his brother John’s home in New Lenox, Ill.
John Prevost visited the pope at the Vatican on Wednesday and may now be carrying the ballot back to the Will County clerk by hand. thelettersfromleo.com/p/pope…
Did you ask him why he’s done zero events, no interviews, and beyond a brochure and a website designed to look just like @DanSullivan_AK’s, has been a ghost? @MattFinnFNC
Just last month "Decoy Dan" told me his Senate campaign was the real deal.
E-mail exchange:
Finn:
"...what do you say to critics who say you’re running simply to take votes from Senator Sullivan?”
Sullivan:
“Every candidate in this race is trying to get as many votes as possible— that’s what elections are about. The Senator has spent 12 years in office and Alaskans are struggling like never before. I am advocating for a change in direction and I am stepping up to be that change.”

We saw this Kansas movie in 2014. Certainly a different environment but the polls were massively off. @ChrisLaCivita was on the ground and knows it well.
