Islamic finance continues to be a joke.
Six trillion dollars in Islamic finance assets today, projected to reach ten trillion by 2030. The UAE sits at the nexus of that capital, the talent building onchain infrastructure, and the regulatory clarity to move it forward. Discussed what that convergence means for tokenized assets at the RWA Leaders Summit conducted by @RWAlabs_ae.

I feel some satisfaction reading the replies here.
I myself agreed with the OP because Islamic finance has specifically chosen to develop shariah standards that are not burdened by ethical considerations.
And the fact that Muslims (maybe not conversant with modern Islamic finance) are surprised that we may consider Fiqh and ethics as separate spheres.
This contradiction is apparent in every sphere of Islam. Ethics and Fiqh cannot be separate and distinct matters.
Except Islamic finance. Where Shariah approval is manufactured to end all further legitimate enquiry with regard to ethics, and what is actually good for Muslims.
