So-called "affordable" housing is a rare kind of bad policy: one that only gets worse the more you look at it. Per the Auditor-General: in Victoria, we are somehow spending more Commonwealth money on average per "affordable" dwelling, than per social dwelling.

Toll caps are a supremely stupid idea. Literally funnelling money to giant corporations for people to use the least efficient and most polluting mode of transport. It also means no price sensitivity in travel times by road as well, meaning more congestion at more times.
