President Trump says the giant new data centers going up around the country will have to make their own electricity instead of leaning on the same grid that powers our homes. In a Truth Social post early Wednesday, he wrote that new large data centers are mandated by him to produce their own power and give or sell any excess back to the local community or grid, and he said that could mean a substantial decrease in electric prices instead of an increase. He also told the companies that if they want their projects to be popular, they should pay the community or the people who live there a dividend.
This builds on a pledge Trump got the big tech companies to sign earlier this year to cover their own power. So far it has come in a social media post, and I haven't seen a signed order yet. That matters, because data centers have turned into one of the hottest local issues of this election, with public opposition growing and several states considering moratoriums.
I'm all for America winning the AI race, but not on the backs of families and retirees who are already paying more every month to keep the lights on. If these companies want to build, they should bring their own power and leave our bills alone. Making them do that is the right call, and I hope it gets put in writing.

Would be amazing if they were held accountable for “treason & sedition” but that would require the DOJ to recognize that we are at war. How different would this conversation be if planes were dropping bombs & tanks rolling down the streets?

The Supreme Court did not provide a reasoning for rejecting the administration’s emergency request. The high court’s refusal to pause Lamberth’s injunction on the policy means that it will remain in effect throughout the course of litigation.

They stress non violence yet they need, condone and assist at the expense of public safety and community defacing and destruction
As I did the research for the below article, the thing that struck me was how often the NGOs behind the plot stress “non-violence” as a key tenet of the what they do and the massive protests they organize.
At the same time, none of their plans will work without violence. To create their desired “crisis of legitimacy” that would cause America to decide Trump was no longer a lawful President and that Democrat governors were the new form of national governance, massive violence would be absolutely necessary. Such violence would come either in the form of another wave of our cities burning or a Kent State-like event x100 where police or the military created martyrs en masse.
They say “non-violence,” yet none of their plans work without violence.
I have decided this is a massive, fraudulent, plausible deniability kind of thing. It’s the wink-wink, nudge-nudge of Monty Python. They say non-violence, but they know they are creating violence anyway and they are OK with that.
It’s massively disingenuous. They know they are fomenting violence. However, they also know that most of what they do (organizing, teaching, etc.) is not illegal unless and until they conspire to engage in violence, so they pretend they are not.
