We are living through massive global changes. The western news isn't reporting them all and those that they are reporting they are putting their narrative to it. As all these global changes are occurring,Scotland is in limbo . The key to the change has been unity of the people globally. Scotland Wake Up

Neil Mackay doesn't miss here ...
"It is astonishing that nobody is taking responsibility for this fiasco. Why has Hayley Valentine, BBC Scotland director, not been fired? Her annual salary at almost £200,000 - more than the First Minister - is safe. "Valentine was once executive editor of Question Time - the BBC’s most debased programme, a symbol of all that’s wrong with the broadcaster. So you get an idea where her talents lie. "The BBC Scotland channel has cost taxpayers around £200million since it was launched. Sometimes, it aired shows that literally nobody watched. Zero viewers. What a cosmic joke. "There was never any real commitment to making the channel work, there was never any thought put into programming. No care, no love, no attention. "BBC bosses were peasants in a palace. They had the chance to do something great, and blew it. "No wonder many see it as an act of deliberate self-sabotage." 👇 𝘐𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘌: 𝘉𝘉𝘊

Stand by Scotland, they are coming for our water: xitter.cf/breeallegretti/status/…
Exc: Ministers have been secretly warned that some English reservoirs are at risk of running dry, hitting water supplies to homes in the run-up to Christmas. The government’s emergency committee, known as Cobra, is meeting up to twice a week to discuss the situation in the southwest of England and Sussex. A secret “reasonable worst-case scenario” was drawn up, anticipating that several reservoirs’ water stocks could fall to 0 per cent — dubbed “day zero” — within weeks. Officials warned that without action, supplies to some homes could be affected, along with disruption to the construction of a nuclear power station and operations at a prison. Steps have been taken by ministers and water companies to try to mitigate the risks, which insiders stressed were already starting to push back the “day zero” dates. Experts on the government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) have also been brought in to help review water companies’ modelling for protecting stocks for the weeks ahead. Heatwaves over the summer left half of England in drought. Sussex and the southwest were the most severely affected. Wimbleball reservoir, which supplies more than 400,000 people in Somerset, has 13 per cent of its capacity, while Ardingly, which serves 280,000 customers across West Sussex, is at 17 per cent, figures from yesterday show. Reasonable worst-case scenario plans were drawn up by the government, setting out a “day zero” envisaging Wimbleball and Ardingly reservoirs’ stocks being completely depleted by December. Subsequently, the government privately said it was told by South West Water that it did not anticipate Wimbleball running dry due to measures it had put in place. South East Water is also taking action that has shifted Whitehall “day zero” forecasts at Ardingly into next year. Even if the reservoirs did run completely dry, water companies would probably be able to transfer supplies from elsewhere. However, significant concerns remain in government about water disruption to properties supplied by Devon’s Venford reservoir in early November. “Day zero” risk monitoring has also started for Cornwall’s Stithians and Drift reservoirs. Water companies were asked to model the impact of water-saving measures, which have been scrutinised by members of Sage. Ministers were told that shortages could affect daily operations at HMP Exeter and the construction of Hinkley Point C, a nuclear power station being built in Somerset. Normal levels of rainfall over autumn and winter will not be enough to counteract the effects of the drought, which was extended to cover Yorkshire this month. Officials have calculated there will need to be 120 per cent of long-term average rainfall over the next six months for a nationwide recovery.

Scotland is an English colony just like India as confirmed by Sanjeev Sanyal, advisor to Prime Minister Modi. Are you explaining that Scotland is a sovereign state under illegal occupation, victim of annexation and colonisation? That there never was a "voluntary union" as it's fully documented (cf. below) and that the East India Company was English in law and Scots as Scots were forbidden from joining it before Scotland's annexation? That the English empire was fully English applying English law and that Scots are simply a colonized people used by the English coloniser like it used small factions of all colonised people to serve its colonial project while oppressing the vast majority? That Mumbai and Calcutta were also called the second city of empire just like Glasgow since colonial powers always try to give some sort of status to the colonial collaborators and try to legitimise their colonisation by showing they are building some kind of infrastructure or buildings while plundering and oppressing? I guess you didn't. You're not seeking Scotland's liberation at all. We know what you are.

The oldest university in Scotland, bearing the name of St Andrew, the apostle of Christ, is a prime example. There is a deep irony in setting the life of a 1st-century Galilean fisherman, who preached humility, poverty, and communal care, beside the modern St Andrews Uni and the elite global academy it keeps company with. Three contradictions stand out between the saint, the institution, and the global academy. 1. A humble fisherman, a haven for the wealthy, and a pipeline for privilege Andrew left his nets to follow Christ with nothing. St Andrews Uni now admits one of the highest shares of privately educated students in the UK, Scots make up only about 30% of its students, and this autumn working-class Scottish students went public about classism on campus. Across the Atlantic, children of the top 1% are more than twice as likely to attend an Ivy-Plus college, Cornell among them, as middle-class children with the same test scores (Chetty, Deming and Friedman, 2023). 2. A mission of unity, a court at war with its rector, and campuses policed Andrew's mission was one of unity. St Andrews Uni's governing court removed its own student-elected rector twice, first over her message on Gaza, then in a row over governance, and twice she won her way back on appeal. At Columbia in 2024, the president called police onto campus against protesters, and crackdowns across US campuses ended in thousands of arrests. 3. An apostle's calling, a global brand, and money that opens every door Andrew carried his mission without a purse. St Andrews Uni leans ever harder on high-fee international students, above all from the US. At the very top, Harvard's own 2020 report found Jeffrey Epstein gave it $9.1 million between 1998 and 2008. After his 2008 conviction he visited the programme he funded over 40 times and kept "Jeffrey's Office" there. MIT's own report found three of its vice presidents knew of his conviction in 2013 and took his gifts anyway, kept small and unpublicised. Both reports were commissioned by the universities themselves. Wealth buys the welcome; the institution writes its own account afterwards. Education is a universal right: Article 26 of the UDHR holds that higher education shall be "equally accessible to all on the basis of merit," and in Scotland it is free to Scots studying at home. That free tuition comes with a cap on funded places for Scots, while fee-payers from elsewhere come uncapped and are worth more to the institution than any Scot. The colonial scandal runs deeper still, because Scotland's universities are hardly Scotland's own. Professor Alf Baird records that only around 1 in 10 academic staff at Scotland's elite universities are Scots, while the roughly 3% of pupils from fee-paying schools hold half of all senior positions in Scotland's institutions, a cultural division of labour in postcolonial terms. That class is no longer simply English. It is a global Anglophone elite, a transnational moneyed class, a cosmopolitan bourgeoisie, schooled in one polished upper-middle English accent that serves as its passport socially and academically. One Scottish student there was asked to slow down or change her words. Scotland's oldest university, bearing the name of a fisherman who followed Christ with nothing, has been captured by the extraction classes, the profiteers, who take the bourgeois class and mould it into the managers, administrators, and colonial intermediaries. Macaulay, a Trinity College, Cambridge, alumni wrote the blueprint for the British colonial sunjegattion of India in 1835: since it was "impossible" to "educate the body of the people," the empire would form "a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern." They will educate their intermediaries but have no wish to see the people educated, because a society dumbed down is a society easily ruled. Baird (2022): wp.towson.edu/iajournal/?p=1… #Colonialism #PeoplePower #SovereignScots #BhonBhunait
I still remember the stories from friends who attended Cornell. Elite universities are not just educational institutions; they reproduce the Epstein class, cultivating privilege, entitlement, and a culture where wealth shields power from accountability. youtube.com/watch?v=Z1Vh2jAG…

The (English-as-British) Crown utilized a special commission of Oyer and Terminer, an extraordinary English administrative device used to fast track indictments. It is entirely foreign to the Scots legal system, prioritising its own self imposed English procedure over Scottish law. Replacing local legal experts with an imported unqualified political prosecutor reduced the courtroom to a colonial tribunal.
The Judicial Murders of the Scottish Radicals, hung & beheaded under English Treason Laws via English Courts & process but held in Scotland to make an example of our people & all illegal, unlawful, exemplary of colonial process & all a massive breach of the Treaty & Acts of Union

In 1707 Scotland didn't just lose a Parliament. It lost the sovereign institutions through which a very different constitutional tradition had developed - one in which rulers were created for the community, bound by law, and could lose their authority if they broke its fundamental conditions. That tradition didn't disappear. It was cut off from its independent institutional development, and much of its history was subsequently buried beneath a very different story of parliamentary sovereignty. Tomorrow (28 October) on Substack: George Buchanan and the Constitution Scotland Lost What Scottish popular sovereignty actually meant - and what was interrupted in 1707.

Successive Scottish Labour branch managers have been demanding things [that are going to happen anyway] for years and the BBC always headlines them as genuine demands, so why not go the whole hog. This would be as genuine as Marra's 'demand' the levy on big banks be increased.

The fiasco yesterday where a former Tory candidate was the star of every broadcast outlet as she berated Stephen Flynn was an example of how lazy and open to manipulation Scotland's broadcast media is. The reporters wanted some drama and the shop owner knew it. Facts weren't important as evidenced by the moronic questioning from the STV reporter who effectively accused Flynn of covering drains with tarmac. It's not bias per-se. The reporters, STV, BBC, SKY, Clyde, LBC et al likely had no idea the shop owner was a former Tory candidate. That said, even had they known they'd have said nothing lest their little melodrama clip be binned. We can but hope they were embarrassed when seeing the image of the shop owner smiling as she was photographed standing in her shop with Russell Findlay later that same afternoon.

We suggested several weeks ago that the fear of being one of the sixty to lose their job was concentrating minds at BBC BritNat. Interviews like this merely serve to re-enforce our concern. This was bad. Really bad.
Lucy Whyte has just conducted one of the most tabloid and shallow interviews we've ever heard on BBC Scotland. What should be an interview about the FM's trip to India turns into a trolling session that never lets up. She just goads and goads and goads. Infantile trash.
