Haven’t posted here in a long time, life became complex to say the least. Just got this sealed pack of Sim City cards from 1994 by Maxis, which I think I’ll open! Hope to get back into my #retrogaming again properly, it’s a good distraction.

The 3DO still looks like a serious piece of kit. An absolute beauty of a console.

On this day in 1985, 19th September 1985, Ghosts ’n Goblins started showing up in US arcades, and it looked like a cartoon.
The following year Chris Butler programmed, and was publised by Elite Systems, one of the best ports to the Commodore 64! If you played this game you know what I mean - it was brutal hard but it looked and sounded near perfect!
Zzap!64 magazine agreed with us, rating it a 97% "At last, Elite have released a decent arcade conversion on the 64, in fact the best to date. Chris Butler has made a marvellous job of converting the game..."
That perfect SID music coming out of your Commodore 64 was composed by Mark Cooksey.
