Fleetwood beat Arsenal recently in the Carabao Cup for similar reasons, including arrogance! "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog that matters"
As the Houthis humiliate the world 'superpower' and its Arab/Israeli vassals, Ibn Khaldun dissects the structural power of asymmetric endurance against modern naval empires: Evelyn set the telemetry report on the wooden table, pointing to a single row of figures. A guided missile destroyer firing a $2,000,000 interceptor to neutralise a $20,000 kit built drone isn't an operational glitch, she said. It is an arithmetic impossibility. Ibn Khaldun leaned forward, studying the map of the Bab al Mandab strait where the Red Sea narrows into a maritime needle eye. You're looking at weapons when you should be looking at social organisation, he remarked softly. Imperial power always collapses at the periphery long before its weapons fail in the centre. Evelyn tilted her head. The US Navy and its allies possess total air dominance and target recognition systems that can spot a launcher from orbit. The asymmetry isn't organisational, it's technological. It's entirely organisational, Ibn Khaldun countered. Consider what permits that drone to launch. The group on the shore lives in harsh, rugged terrain, bound by fierce internal cohesion and shared hardship. They don't depend on fragile urban infrastructure, delicate global markets, or political consensus. Their operational cost is near zero because their daily existence is already pared down to survival. Evelyn traced the shipping routes curved around the Horn of Africa. But the naval coalition represents the wealth of international trade. They've built the most expensive defence shield in human history. And that wealth is precisely their vulnerability, Ibn Khaldun said. In the Muqaddimah, I noted that dynasties begin with lean vigour and strong solidarity. As they expand, they construct grand cities, specialised bureaucracies, and complex trade networks. That complexity creates vast wealth, but it also creates immense fixed overhead. Every ship you send into these waters requires thousands of technicians, continuous refuelling, and multimillion dollar munitions built by specialised defence contractors across three continents. He gestured toward the narrow waters. When an empire must spend $100 to defend against US$1 of threat, the non-state actor doesn't need to sink a single capital ship. They only need to remain present and persistent. The economic calculus does the rest. Evelyn tapped her pen against the desk. But what happens if the naval coalition shifts strategy from interception to active interdiction? If they strike the command nodes, radar sites, and assembly workshops deep inland, they disrupt the supply chain. Superior industrial capacity eventually wins a war of attrition. Only if the target possesses a centralised industrial chain that can be severed, Ibn Khaldun replied. Does a desert or mountain militia rely on centralised factories? Or do they assemble weapons in hidden caves, scattered basements, and mobile trucks, supported by regional allies who share their ideological hostility toward imperial presence? Evelyn paused, weighing the evidence. The operational data supports your point, she admitted. After hundreds of targeted airstrikes, the launch frequency barely dipped. The launchers are cheap, mobile, and easily hidden among civilian infrastructure or subterranean networks. Because you are trying to cut a tree that has no single trunk, Ibn Khaldun said. When a state fights another state, victory comes from destroying the opponent's organised military apparatus or capturing their capital. When a state fights a cohesive, decentralised population anchored in difficult terrain, the state is fighting gravity. To eliminate the threat entirely, the empire must occupy the land, control every valley, and govern a hostile populace. And no distant power has the domestic political appetite for a prolonged land war in Yemen, Evelyn added. Precisely, said Ibn Khaldun. So the empire falls back on sea control. But sea control in a narrow strait bordered by high mountains is a spatial illusion. On the open ocean, a navy projects power without constraint. In a narrow waterway, the shore commands the sea. Land based forces possess infinite depth; ships at sea are constrained by limited missile magazines and time on station. Evelyn pulled up a logistics chart on her tablet. A destroyer carries less than 100 vertical launch cells. Once those interceptors are expended, the ship must leave the combat zone for weeks to reload at specialised port facilities. Meanwhile, the cost of commercial maritime insurance for Red Sea transit spiked by over 300%, forcing major shipping lines to reroute around the Cape of Good Hope. Which adds ten days and thousands of kilometres to every voyage, Ibn Khaldun noted. Increasing global fuel consumption and supply chain delays. Who pays that cost? The global consumer, Evelyn said. Then the non-state actor has effectively levied a tax on world trade using a fraction of the empire's budget, Ibn Khaldun said. This is the core mechanism of strategic decay. The empire isn't defeated by tactical defeat; it is exhausted by maintenance costs. When the expense of securing a trade route exceeds the marginal benefit of that route, the imperial structure begins to fracture from within. Evelyn frowned. Is there no technological countermeasure? Directed energy weapons, lasers, or high powered microwave systems could reduce the cost per shot to virtually zero. Ibn Khaldun smiled gently. You seek a technical cure for a structural condition. Even if you deploy lasers that reduce the cost per intercept, what happens when the opponent alters the operational environment? What if they launch dozens of low cost unguided rockets, underwater autonomous vehicles, or simply threaten commercial crews with irregular boardings? Technology shifts the tactical surface, but the underlying equation remains unchanged. High complexity systems are intrinsically fragile when forced to guard every point against low complexity threats. So the conflict isn't fundamentally about maritime security at all, Evelyn said softly. No, Ibn Khaldun agreed. It's a reclassification problem. The world views this as a modern naval patrol failing to suppress a pirate or rebel faction. In reality, it is a demonstration of boundary conditions. It marks the geographic and financial edge where blue water naval dominance can no longer protect commercial supply lines without incurring ruinous systemic costs. They looked back at the map. The red line of shipping vectors bent far to the south, circumventing the continent entirely, leaving the narrow strait quiet, guarded by billions of dollars of warships watching an empty horizon. --- Ibn Khaldun (1332-1406) was an Arab historian and sociologist whose masterpiece, the Muqaddimah, pioneered historiography, economics, and social science. He's best known for introducing the concept of social cohesion to explain the rise and fall of civilisations. #Houthis #RedSea #Yemen

“If an advert with a mixed race couple bothers you, you’re a racist cunt.” No. It’s the constant, deliberate, everywhere-you-look propaganda that bothers people. White British are still ~74% of England & Wales. Black people are ~4%. Mixed White & Black Caribbean is 0.9%. Mixed White & Black African is 0.4%. White British people in inter-ethnic relationships? Around 4%? Not even that. Yet every other advert, every billboard, every TV show is a mixed couple (usually Black man, White woman) presented as the normal “English” family. It isn’t. It’s a manufactured image. A soft push for race-mixing and the erosion of the historic English population while the actual numbers remain tiny. Representation should match the country, not the ideology of ad agencies and the anti-White class that runs them. Corporate media, ad agencies, the NGOs, the university departments, the civil service, all signed up to the same script. Diversity as the highest good. Whiteness as the original sin. Mixing as moral progress. Continuity of the English people as something to be dismantled quietly, one advert, one curriculum, one policy at a time. They push the opposite image to further their agenda. They push the opposite image because the image is the point. Normalise the replacement. Make the historic population feel like the odd ones out in their own country. Then call anyone who notices a “racist cunt” It isn’t organic. It isn’t “just how Britain looks now.” It’s a managed project with a preferred demographic outcome. The adverts are just the softest, most constant version of it.

Russell Brand has been found guilty of rape and sexual assault. I'm shocked because I was certain he would get away with his crimes. The fact that Brand is a rapist was an open secret on the British comedy circuit. A friend of mine knows one of his victims. One of the things I learned over the last few years is how many people in the entertainment industry are good, decent people and how many are compromised by their own desire for power, money and clicks. Francis and I shared what we knew about Brand with people who were thinking of working with him and many of them immediately recognised we were telling the truth and stopped any association with him. Others, not so much. This is even more true of his former employers like Channel 4 and the BBC. I am not saying everyone at those organisations knew but many people definitely did and they not only didn't say anything, some of them actively protected him. I hope the verdict today brings closure and peace to his victims and serves as a reminder to powerful people who abuse their position to take advantage of others that they won't get away with it forever.

Since riots are now spreading across Europe, there are some simple things any country that wants to avoid them can announce. Anyone found guilty of rioting/looting: - who is a foreign national will be immediately deported - who is a dual national will be immediately stripped of their citizenship, then deported - who is an asylum seeker or has been granted asylum, will be denied asylum/deported - permanently banned from receiving any benefits/welfare of any kind - given harsh custodial sentences Announce this now and avoid riots or watch your country go down the route of France and Germany.

Thought for the day... 🤔 Imagine how Canada would respond if asked to fund development projects in Mississippi in return for the right to trade more energy with the US. But something similar is expected as part of the UK-EU 'reset'... 🤷‍♂️

We’ve gotten things completely backward. People who contribute nothing to society but feel entitled to the fruits of others’ labor are somehow seen as “victims” deserving of special treatment. Meanwhile, those who work, produce, and create wealth are vilified and penalized.

SERIOUS UPDATE REGARDING DANNY TOMMO - Very concerning news from my dad has just come to light. His case for the incident where he went into the Dover Immigration Facility was due to be heard in Kent Magistrates tomorrow, this has now been moved to Westminster, less than 24 hours before the court hearing with one of the highest profile magistrate judges in the land overseeing the case. This causes a major safety risk for my father as he has been told he will not be returning to Winchester but will be held in Belmarsh My dad and my family have had numerous threats to life many of these are from people in that area of the country or people connected to Belmarsh prison itself and this unjustified legal manoeuvre has major implications and potential life threatening repercussions. I will update you as this situation progresses Thank you all Shae.

@Jkylebass has spoke with clarity from a very early time on this, the longer we wait the harder it will be. China has weakened the West by destroying our manufacturing base.
When are we going to wake up and realize the Chinese Communist Party is the mortal enemy of the west? How many more stories about hacking, cyberattacks, bribery, coercion, theft, cheating, etc do we have to experience before we completely cut the cord? #China #Spies

Poland - strong economy, massive investment in its armed forces, low crime, secure borders, a country that looks after its citizens - the EU has just tried to organise a coup in order to destroy all that. This Sunday pray for the Polish citizens fighting the globalist attack.
