Yeah Schumer and Jeffries really “held the line”’on those cuts to essential services 🤬
There is a ticking time bomb of Medicaid and SNAP cuts that will begin in January. This was a cruel Republican plot. They didn’t want the cuts to take place before they had to face the voters. Democrats first order of business has to be to reverse the cuts.

Senators up for reelection in 2028 are more sensitive to constituent pressure than say, someone who now has another 6 years:

The “far left” position is the majority position on the major issues that voters considered when casting their votes:
66% want Medicare for All 61% want a billionaire wealth tax 57% want a $20/hour minimum wage 63% want a data center moratorium 58% want to end military aid to Israel 73% want to ban super PACs 79% want a 10% credit card interest rate cap No more excuses. Democrats must deliver.

LOL, UK has their own Haley Stevens. Does @Councillorsuzie see Israel in her dream?
The attack from @Councillorsuzie was personal and she screamed at @ZackPolanski solidarity to Zack for the dignified was he replied. Zack is on the right side of history

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden responded to Macklemore in a statement to Variety, saying, “We have some of the busiest venues in the world with extremely limited availability, and he’s not an arena-level act.” Macklemore sold out arenas across Europe just days ago, with tickets selling out almost instantly. He completely sold out his U.S. solo tour in 2017, sold out Spokane Arena in 2013, and sold out two shows at Dublin’s O2 Arena in just 25 minutes, among many others. This is a lie. MSG is complicit.

AIPAC owning Democratic candidates will be increasingly depend on laundering their money through leadership PACs, which require “leaders” like Schumer and Jeffries to be pro-genocide. Ergo a candidate can say “I don’t take AIPAC money” and, in fact, take tons of it.
They didn’t change their name. UDP is the name of their super PAC they’ve had for years. AIPAC is not going away. They are suspending their most visible forms of candidate support and relying on their super PAC and network of shell PACs. Please study this to avoid spreading misinformation. AIPAC relies on confusion about their operations to keep influencing lawmakers but we are on their case.

No one is going to run against Jeffries openly until Jeffries loses on multiple ballots. That's how it went with McCarthy. It's too risky for someone to put their name out now. The first step is to make Jeffries lose. When it's clear he has no path, people will come forward.
No one serious has come forward to run against him. No one serious is even being floated. And casting aside the would-be first Black Speaker would be a gigantic “fuck you” to Black voters, the backbone of our party, who just turned out in absolute massive numbers post-Callais.

Will his Kalshi sponsors be underwriting it?
Christians can’t stand by as Israel bombs churches and murders thousands of children. Next weekend, John Kiriakou headlines the Not In Christ’s Name rally outside Washington.

Bernie hitting his stride. This is what he’s good at:
As the next chair of the Social Security Subcommittee, a top priority will be to expand Social Security benefits by at least $2,400 a year & extend Social Security’s solvency for generations. How? By scrapping the cap & demanding that the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes.

MoveOn was always a shitlib group whose job was to neutralize M4A leftists & harvest support for the BCBS lobbyist-written ACA. After the disaster that turned out to be she should be hiding her head in shame, but now crying “oh poor billionaires” shows who she always rode for:
Just so I have it right, the only groups that should exist are entirely membership funded? Is that your position? No advocacy should proceed with any big dollar donors? Including non-profit newsrooms? I assume that's about as good-faith a reading of what you are saying as yours of my statement. I have worked for advocacy groups my entire life. Nowhere have I ever said, nor did I say below, that dark money can never create corruption. Of course it can. I said you were moving the goal posts. Happy to have a separate conversation about donor influence and transparency in the non-profit sector. I've dealt with it my entire career.

Sad to say but Hakeem Jeffries and the pro genocide wing of the Democratic Party are definitely going to keep funding the Iran war. That is why Hakeem met with Jared Kushner then immediately assigned Moskowitz and DWS as members of the foreign affairs committee.

Good point.
Asked whether he would support Chuck Schumer as Senate Democratic leader if elected, Mississippi Democrat Scott Colom said: “I don’t like that our party is represented by two people that live in the same borough.” Colom, who was referring to Brooklyn-based Schumer and House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries, is leading Republican incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith by 49.1% to 48.8%, ~2,500 votes, with 98% of votes counted. The race has not yet been called.

The implication is that a Congressman from Brooklyn (Jeffries) would’ve nixed public housing support for his own district if AOC didn’t vote for him. How fucking stupid do people think we are?
Isn’t that something any Dem representative from NYC should already support though? If that’s the big concession AOC got to throw her full support behind AIPAC Shakur for speaker then I’m worried about her negotiating skills.

Kind of like the Democrats who said Liz Cheney would be the leader of the Republican Party during impeachment:
Call me crazy but I don't think the person who cowered in fear behind a folder in Trump's Oval Office, vetoed a bunch of her party's own legislation, and endorsed a literal Republican in the Senate primary is gonna be our party's standard-bearer in 2028

Don’t worry Zach, Hasan is getting his flowers post-midterms and one day you’ll get yours. GOAT
One Day, Everyone will have always been against this

I have to say I am heartened by this. Normally after they elect Democrats, Democratic voters think they’ve done their job until the next election and sit back and do nothing while they get fleeced by the people they voted for because it’s “their team.” Something has changed:
NEW: House Dems "inundated" w/ calls & emails urging them not to elect Jeffries speaker One member told @axios they got "300-400" calls in 2 days Another said "over 500" A third said "higher" than 500: "It's our No. 1 issue, and it's not close." axios.com/2026/11/06/jeffrie…

Replying to @BloridaAlt
In my opinion it would be an embarassment to black politicians if the first black speaker was someone who opposes M4A and takes millions from AIPAC. Imagine if the first black president was Herman Cain?

Philip K Dick has a lesser known work called “Confessions of a crap artist” about a failson who takes bald tires and puts new grooves on them. That’s basically what Schumer & Jeffries want to do for health care: restore ACA subsidies & retain BCBS & United Healthcare as donors.
"I've been telling you for over a year Schumer & Jeffries need to step down, so it warms my cold heart to see so many calling for it now." @cthagod gives "Controlled Opposition" @SenSchumer & @RepJeffries DONKEYS OF THE DAY, calling them the WASHINGTON GENERALS (!) who won't stand up for workers or stand up to Israel
