Today marks a defining moment in the structured evolution of Dubai’s digital economy with the formalisation of @DMCC_Tech as our overarching technology platform, in conjunction with the launch of @DMCC_Cyber as a dedicated cybersecurity vertical. Over the past 2 years, technology has become the largest and fastest-growing sector in our business district, now home to a powerhouse community of over 4,000 enterprises. This sits alongside a high-density cluster of more than 200 specialised cybersecurity firms operating across cyber resilience, digital trust, data protection, identity, and governance, risk and compliance. @DMCC_Cyber now joins the @dmccaicentre , @dmccquantum , @dmcccrypto Centre, and @DMCC_Gaming Centre under the @DMCC_Tech platform. By bringing these communities together under a single regulated framework, we are creating an environment where the innovators driving the digital frontier and the defensive teams safeguarding it can seamlessly interact, share intelligence, and scale with confidence. The timing could not have been more fitting, as the announcement coincided with me hosting Anthony Nakache, MD of @GoogleArabia, and Faisal Zaidi, President of @ExscapeOfficial , for a productive meeting and an extensive tour of @UptownDubai . Discussing the future of institutional technology alongside global leaders of this calibre underscores precisely why a unified digital architecture matters. As global trade, commercial real estate, and financial platforms such as @dmccfinx become increasingly algorithmic, robust cybersecurity is no longer an optional overlay, but an absolute prerequisite for securing global digital liquidity and maintaining institutional trust. Together, these specialised centres give technology companies direct access to one of the world’s most connected business communities, linking them to more than 26,000 member companies across global trade, finance, commodities, and frontier technologies, including the rapidly developing space economy. The seed for this ecosystem was planted as early as 2013, when @astrolabs became an integral part of the @DMCCAuthority community. What began over a decade ago as a forward-looking partnership to anchor tech talent in Dubai has grown into the region’s largest concentration of digital and cryptographic enterprises. By matching this deep commercial scale with structured, specialised ecosystems, DMCC continues to deliver the world-class infrastructure required to systematically de-risk and power the next generation of global commerce.
