One year in your fifties, is not the same as one year in your twenties.
The value of time depreciates exponentially - many seemingly "intelligent" men know exactly the value of money, but not the value of time - they sell their time (their youth!) very, very cheaply.

Move to a small town.
Buy a $200K house instead of a $900K one.
Take the job that gives you more time, not the biggest salary.
Have kids.
Know your neighbors.
Grill in the backyard.
Take road trips instead of luxury vacations.
Pay off the house.
Build a simple life.
Then you’re 70, sitting on the porch with the person you love, watching your grandkids play.
The house isn’t impressive.
The town isn’t famous.
But somehow, you won.

the best test of masculinity tbh is playfulness and humor
the less playful a man is, the more insecure he is
i find this to be the case 99% of the time and i usually always select my friends based on whether or not we can vibe and play and laugh together
the inability to play and have fun and make fun out of things is a form of fragility
even with myself this is the case
the more relaxed and secure and confident i am, the more playful and humorous i also become
likewise the more stressed i am, the more i lose my capacity for play and fun

In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran.
No you don’t get it when Trump says “a whole civilization will die tonight” he is being hyperbolic and posturing unlike when Iran says “death to America” which is actually a very serious threat and should definitely serve as the basis for an invasion

Stone Age?
At a time when you were still in caves searching for fire, we were inscribing human rights on the Cyrus Cylinder.
We endured the storm of Alexander and the Mongol invasions and remained; because Iran is not just a country, it is a civilization.

In the 1960s, under the Shah, the United States declined to help Iran build a steel industry, preferring it remain a supplier of raw materials rather than an industrial power. Iran turned the Soviet Union instead and built it anyway.
Yesterday, the Mobarakeh Steel Complex, the largest industrial unit in Iran and the largest steel producer in the Middle East, in Isfahan was struck by the U.S. and Israel. What was once denied as development is now treated as a threat. Once built, it becomes a target for weakening.
Established in the 1980s and inaugurated in 1992 despite the constraints of war with Iraq, the complex rapidly became one of the core pillars of Iran’s industrial economy.
Targeting steel is not about a single factory. It is about dismantling the foundations of economic continuity and resilience. Steel sits at the core of infrastructure, construction, and industrial circulation. Damage it, and the effects cascade far beyond one sector.
The logic is clear: not just weakening Iran in the present, but shaping its post-war condition.
The US-Israeli main goal is to push Iran toward fragmentation; an economy that cannot recover, a state that cannot stabilize, a system trapped in prolonged disorder.
What Trump meant by sending Iran “back to the Stone Age” is precisely this: the making of a #Failed_State
The US-Israeli shift move toward launching an #Infrastructure_War against Iran suggests that their initial regime-change policy has failed following the decapitation strike. The emerging objective now appears to be weakening the Iranian state and turning it into a #Failed_State

It is day 34 of the war 🔥
It is day 34 of the internet shutdown 🛜
Today is also 13 Bedar (Sizdah Bedar). Iranians traditionally head outdoors with family, picnic in parks or by rivers, and throw the #Nowruz sabzeh into flowing water to cast away misfortune and welcome spring. It also marks the end of the two-week Nowruz holidays.
Despite the war, the ancient call to reconnect with nature endures.
Happy Sizdah Be-dar 🌱

Capitulation
The US launched a war of aggression because Bibi gave Trump a bully boner.
The aggressors failed to subdue Iran, failed to suppress Iranian fire, failed to prevent Hormuz falling into Iranian hands, failed to protect their own bases and assets, and failed to protect the gulf monarchs.
The US now wants to hand over the problem to other powers and turn tail. “Go get your own oil.” WTF? Yeah.
All other powers in the system have no choice now but to pay their respects to the newly-minted great power, the new ‘oil hegemon’ as @ProfessorPape put it, and the arbiter of the gulf.
One by one, Iran will coerce everyone into submission. They’ll get the Chinese to rearm them. In short order Iran will have rebuilt a formidable missile arsenal that can hold Europe at risk. They’ll get the Europeans to lift sanctions in exchange for access. They’ll get the Saudis and the Emiratis to kick American forces out and keep them out. And they’ll probably get the bomb and ICBMs in a couple of years tops.
Wars have consequences. Victory and defeat have consequences. We’re looking at a new world order, forged as always by the victors. In this new world, the Iranians will run the gulf.
Welcome to the multipolar world.

Pezeshkian has called for the conflict to end. He has consistently taken the less warlike stance (befitting his role as head of the civilian govt, and his general profile as a somewhat squishy reformist).
But note the second part (which matters much more) and gets to Iran's entire strategy.
This war only ends when the cost to the US has been deemed sufficient. And it ends via US de-escalation. Iran will not be backing down.

Spain condemns the death penalty for Palestinians passed by the Israeli parliament. This is an asymmetrical measure, as it would not apply to Israelis who committed the same crimes.
This is not justice. It is a further step towards apartheid.
The world cannot remain silent.
El Gobierno de España condena la pena de muerte contra palestinos que acaba de aprobar el parlamento de Israel. Se trata de una medida asimétrica que no se aplicaría a los israelíes que cometieran los mismos delitos.
Mismo crimen, distinta pena.
Eso no es justicia. Es un paso más hacia el apartheid.
El mundo no puede callar.

So then the IRGC, lmao.
The Pakistan or Egypt model is what some of us have flagged as the likely outcome — long before the war even started.
And before anyone comes at me: he’s the one who said “no mullahs.”
People think that automatically includes the IRGC, but it doesn’t.
The IRGC may have been founded to protect the Islamic revolution and the power of the Supreme Leader but it has metastasized into a parallel state: controlling military operations, a sprawling economic empire worth hundreds of billions, and one of the region’s most sophisticated intelligence apparatuses.
It doesn’t dissolve because someone utters the words “no mullahs.”
The IRGC’s entrenchment is structural and not reliant on an ideological entrenchment.
You can remove every cleric from power and the Guards remain — with their bases, their bonyads, their foreign networks, and their weapons.
If you don’t understand that the IRGC is a sovereign economic entity, you don’t understand Iran.
So many of you don’t know a thing about Iran and just keep talking nonsense.
