Since its inception in 2021, Paramount+ has grown its subscriber base to more than 80 million across more than 45 international markets, competing with services such as Peacock and Apple TV. When combined with HBO Max, the services are expected to form a major entertainment destination that unites two of Hollywood’s most extensive content libraries. With subscriber bases that feature remarkably low overlap (roughly 21% of U.S. Paramount+ subscribers and ~28% of U.S. HBO Max subscribers were estimated to have both as of early 2026), unifying these services will offer subscribers hours upon hours of non-stop, bingeable content across every genre.
