Question: Why does Labour seem to have no problem being in a coalition with Reform UK in Oldham, despite the multitude of clear cases of racism among Reform UK representatives and their entire political platform being built upon racist bigotry?

It's a complete mystery how this has happened

Anita Bryant campaigning against lesbian & gay rights in 178? Nope. This is Kathleen Stock writing in Unherd THIS WEEK. Anti trans activists were always going to come after gay people.

I got this comment on a video where I played Rust with @hasanthehun and I feel like it's pretty obvious what my political beliefs are to anyone with an ounce of reasoning. Just in case you don't know... Yes, the wholesome Tea farming guy hates all forms of bigotry and racism, cool with LGBTQ, is pro Palestine, and a fervent supporter of the working class. I also love this country, come from a long line of Marines, and don't get upset over jokes. Pretty normal stuff if you grew up in the very politically complicated city of Pittsburgh. I don't agree with everything Hasan says. I don't even agree with everything my own skitzo ass says. But the fella is a consistent left voice in a sea of the opposite. That is not an easy thing to do. Which was an inspiration to me when I started my own channel. Being a radically positive person in a sea of negativity. After being diagnosed with clinical depression from cancer complications, that formula saved me. I owe a lot to him for that. So if having a video that includes Hasan on my channel is a deal breaker, I'm completely ok with that. If you can't handle knowing all the goofy videos are edited by some filthy lib... I understand that too. But I promise you that I do not care what your beliefs are. I have plenty of right leaning folks in my community who lovingly make fun of me for being a leftist and we still find ways to have a good time. Open healthy discussions is how we build a better society and I would suggest challenging your beliefs as much as possible. You might be surprised what you can learn from giving a stranger your full attention. Alright. This whole thing is keyword poison on this goofy ass platform, but I don't really care. Sometimes you just gotta post what you believe and move on. Remember to Vote. Hug someone you love. Tea is Life. ☕

Israel killed eight people including a child in Gaza this weekend as they continue their genocide. After a weekend of arresting pensioners for protesting against this horror, Labour has today collapsed local agreements putting Israel far above serving our local communities.

The Green Party doesn’t have a “Friends of Israel” group. We’re the only major party that doesn’t. Perhaps that’s why we’re the only party that willing to oppose settler colonialism. Perhaps that’s why we’re the only party willing to oppose genocide. join.greenparty.org.uk/
On this day 109 years ago today British foreign secretary Arthur Balfour sent a letter to Lord Rothschild, a leading member of the UK's Jewish community, expressing the British government's support for the establishment of a Jewish national homeland in Israel. It laid the foundation for the eventual end of the British Mandate of Palestine and the establishment of the State of Israel. This article from the declaration's centenary explains how the Labour party already supported its aims months before it was written: labourlist.org/2017/10/why-l…

Remember that the IHRA code includes the example: 'Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.' This Israeli guy is doing just that because he thinks being Nazi is something positive. IHRA code - help?

In May 2025, I painted a mural of Donald Trump titled The Host. The mural was an image if Donald Trump, dressed as Uncle Sam with the Israeli flag in his eyes. The work was a commentary on how US politics and foreign policy have been co-opted by Israel. Shortly after its completion, police were called to the mural, a campaign was launched to pressure @innerwestcouncil into removing it (which they did), and I began receiving legal letters. What followed was a lengthy legal process in which the complainant sought orders from the Tribunal requiring me to: 1. I create a new mural that apologised for the original mural, and that this mural had to be in the same place as the old mural; 2. I had to post photos of the mural apology and post it on my Instagram page; 3. I had to write a letter of apology to the President of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, and prescribed what he wanted me to write in that letter; 4. I pay $10,000 + revenue made on the sale of posters of the mural in equal parts to several Jewish fundraisers; and 5. I was to attend the Sydney Jewish Museum and undertake specific case studies. After more than a year, I’ve finally put that legal process behind me. This is yet another in a growing list of attempts to silence and censor my artwork critical of Israel. Long story short, it didn’t work. 👊 I owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Jen Robinson, Danielle, Michael and Lauren at Marque Lawyers, and Oshie Fagir. You are absolute lifesavers ❤️🙏💪

Wait does anyone remember when Elon Musk turned down the Zuckerberg fight… because his mom begged him not to on Twitter? And now we know that account was just Musk roleplaying as his own mother?? So he was replying to himself begging himself not to fight Zuckerberg?
Elon accepts … also wants @joerogan to referee match.

60 Minutes' Ross Douthat makes a fool out of himself trying to claim the Saudi Lobby is similar in power to the Israel Lobby. "[$33 million] was spent by AIPAC [against me]," Abdul El-Sayed counters. "Can you point to any other spending [like that]?!"

They fucking LOVE to say "why are so concerned with what's happening at the other side of the world instead of local issues" and then completely destroy local services because your council is insufficiently loyal to a genocidal state that is clearly dictating our own govt policy
BREAKING: Labour has announced it's pulling out of coalition and power-sharing with the Greens in 11 local authorities over the party's 'Zionism is racism' policy. trib.al/rIdzsOQ 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

The whole “they’re accusing me of dual loyalty” routine rings a little hollow when some of the most prominent El-Sayed complainers have explicitly said “I’m in a tough position because of my dual loyalty to both the US and Israel!”
I don’t think people realize how radicalizing it is watching people call Jews concerned about antisemitism and terrorism guilty of dual loyalty.
