Why is it acceptable for men who choose to ID as women to demand space segregated from men, but not for women to demand space segregated from men?
As smarter women than me have noted: being “kind” & misusing words helps no one.

A clear statement from @RapeCrisisEandW
- Every adult and child who has experienced sexual violence deserves access to to support
- The Rape Crisis National Service Standards recognise the benefit of women only services and spaces
- RCEW Centres MUST provide women-only spaces and services
- This does not mean that they cannot *also* provide services (or referral) for male survivors including trans-identifying men.

I think we’d make a step toward taking it more seriously if we started calling it what it obviously is: Male Violence Against Women & Girls

I'm fed up with idiots claiming that men can breastfeed.
Men cannot produce enough liquid to sustain a baby, even after taking a cocktail of drugs, so why even try? We know it's purely a sexual fetish with them. They are prepared to exploit an innocent baby for a sexual thrill, while women who breastfeed are very careful about what medications they take.

Men who repeatedly predate upon and sexually assault women are a public danger. Of course they should be subject to a mandatory prison sentence. That they aren’t is totally unacceptable.

PETITION STARTED BY LEAH’S PARENTS - please sign and share 🙏
Our daughter Leah Croucher went missing on 15 February 2019, walking to work. Her body was found three and a half years later, in the loft of a house half a mile from our family home.
The man who killed her, Neil Maxwell, was a convicted sex offender with a history of serious offending going back to 1998. Months before Leah disappeared, he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman and was sentenced to a Community Order, not prison. The Probation Service wrongly classified him as medium risk instead of high risk. He then missed a number of Probation appointments, and a police officer raised concerns about his lack of communication just weeks before Leah went missing. He evaded arrest for six months. During that time, he murdered Leah and took his own life.
The Coroner ruled that Leah was unlawfully killed, and that failures by the Police and Probation Service in monitoring Maxwell "may have played a part" in her death.
That's why we, Leah's parents, are calling for Leah's Law: a mandatory minimum prison sentence for anyone convicted of a third sexual offence.
Mandatory minimums already exist for domestic burglary and Class A drug trafficking. There's no justifiable reason sexual offending should be treated more leniently. By a third conviction, it is self-evident that the offender has not been sufficiently deterred from further offending.
Where a case falls below that threshold, we are calling for a District Judge to oversee sentencing in all repeat sexual offence cases, so a decision like the one that let Maxwell walk free can never be made again.
This would have ensured he had no opportunity to kill Leah, and that the risk he presented on his release would have been vastly reduced.
Sign for Leah, and for every family this could still protect.

We share the concern of these women outside the court and applaud their solidarity 👏
Men are accused of raping this poor woman at the invitation of her husband, who had drugged her. He has already pleaded guilty.
How many more cases will we see? We are sickened and we are angry.
A few of us outside Winchester Crown Court this morning to show support for Joanne Young.

As the trial proceeds of the men accused of raping Joanne Young while she was drugged, we want to highlight that this is not an isolated case.
Drug assisted rape is happening as part of an organised global ecosystem. The 'Motherless' pornography site facilitates this. It is STILL operating.

1/ We would love to know which groups Sky believe are ‘bigoted’ and ‘extraordinarily funded’ because they “exclude trans people from sport”.
In fair and safe sport nobody is excluded and everyone can compete in the category for their sex.
If Sky did anything in the way of investigation, they would see that many of the groups that campaign for saving women’s sport are grassroots volunteer led organisations.
If only Sky knew any journalists worthy of the name.
“LGBTQ+ people are being targeted. Our rights, our identities and our existence are being debated and attacked.”
These are the words of a senior legal counsel at Sky, who co-chairs its LGBTQ+ staff group.
According to The Sunday Times, an internal video also attacked “extraordinarily well-funded bigots” campaigning to exclude trans people from sport and shared spaces.
Presumably that includes women campaigning for single-sex spaces and fair sporting categories?
Gender-critical beliefs are protected under the Equality Act. So what message does this send to Sky employees who hold those beliefs?
And what does it tell us about the culture inside one of Britain's biggest news broadcasters?

2/ As for “…our trans friends and family are facing an especially relentless level of hostility...” Sky might want to turn down the hyperbole and speak to the girls and women threatened with losing their college places and careers if they spoke up against men in their squads and changing rooms.
Alternatively, Sky could speak to Melissa Bishop, Joanna Jóźwik and Lynsey Sharp who missed out on placing at the 2016 Rio Olympics as three men stood on the women’s 800m podium.
They could even do a deep dive into how a men came to be punching women in the boxing ring at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
We feel sorry for Sky’s staff who hold sex realist or gender critical views.
However, if Sky are looking for genuine relentless hostility, speaking to the women of Afghanistan would give them a true insight.

We are extremely concerned at the thinly-veiled threats to women’s safety at parkrun by a group calling itself ‘Flag and Pole Runners’.
Threats to ‘give transphobes [ie women standing up for their rights] a fright’ are unacceptable. We hope that Run Directors and @parkrunUK will take this seriously on Saturday.
Women and men are allowed to campaign peacefully for fair rules at parkrun. Wearing T-shirts that state ‘Save Women’s Sport’ is a peaceful way to get our message across. Our members have been wearing this message on their running shirts since 2023 when our parkrun campaign started.
We were pleased to be invited to back Reality Rules Runners UK, set up by a group of keen parkrunners to raise awareness of the iniquitous gender policy that allows males to take female course times and records at parkrun. The new running club has well over 600 members and has significantly raised awareness of the issues around parkrun, while encouraging women to run / walk on Saturday mornings.
Parkrun is a great public health initiative. But it is not fair to categorise runners by gender instead of sex. Parkrun is in receipt of public funds running well in excess of £8 million. Some of that money has been spent on encouraging more women to become active, and yet women’s results are inaccurate because males are self-identifying into the female category.
We continue to campaign for fair parkrun and fair and safe sport for all women and girls.
So this chap who wants to ‘give transphobes a fright’ at Halloween parkruns has been emailing parkrun event teams to promote his campaign.
He opens by asserting that @sharrond62 and @wsusportsunion are ‘sueing parkrun because they want to make the event less inclusive.’
That is incorrect. What they want - as do many others - is for parkrun to stop allowing males to run in the female category.
He also asks event teams to add his new club to their club affiliations and promote it on their socials!
Meanwhile, he’s actively trying to drum up support in Facebook and Reddit groups - based on false information. And is now started to gain some traction.
I like to think no event teams would be silly enough to get involved. But I’ve met event directors - and other volunteers - who have been totally ‘captured’ by gender ideology.
Some think running Pride-themed events and flying the ‘Progress Pride’ flag is perfectly acceptable, seemingly unaware - or unconcerned - that it represents contested political and ideological positions that may make some participants deeply uncomfortable.
This new group has apparently been set up in ‘opposition’ to @RRRunnersUK whose members peacefully protest parkrun’s policy by turning up in club T-shirts to run, walk or volunteer. Their rules explicitly state that they won’t approach anyone or discuss the club unless asked.
Contrast this with a group putting out what I personally feel is a rather ‘menacing’ statement about giving ‘transphobes a fright’ at Halloween parkruns.
And let’s be honest … they’re talking about women. Because it’s predominantly women campaigning for fairness in women’s sport.
I’ve seen how hostile some trans activists can be towards women who challenge gender ideology. So I genuinely worry this could put women at risk - and cause disruption at events.
I sincerely hope parkrun will intervene. For me, this crosses the line between peaceful protest and political campaigning.
I love parkrun. I’ve been involved for 13 years and currently give up around 20 hours a month volunteering for an organisation which has a policy I believe discriminates against women.
But if this isn’t dealt with appropriately, I’ll be seriously considering whether I can continue to volunteer my time as an event director.

Note to all Judges: Stabbing a girl 10 times is not ‘mischief’. It’s serious violence. (We should not have to point this out).
Yet another case where a Judge is apparently more focused on the wellbeing of the violent male youth, than the brutalised girl. We agree with her mother. This derisory sentence is indeed disgraceful.
Q. What sort of message does this send out to young girls- and for that matter, young boys too?
A. That young girls matter less than young boys. Even stabbed young girls.

Some hints @bphillipsonmp about effective ‘practical action’ to actually counteract misogyny:
➡️Bin the Conversion Practices Bill that would criminalise us for challenging men in our spaces
➡️Ensure all organisations are complying with the law on single sex spaces and services
➡️Stop releasing men who commit domestic abuse and coercive control early
➡️Ensure rapists and violent men are dealt with, charged, brought to trial QUICKLY (not 4 years later)
We could go on. But that’s a start.
Reader - feel free to add your own!
The time for talk has long passed. This government is putting its money where its mouth is when it comes to supporting women and girls.
We'll back practical action to confine misogyny to the history books - in public services, workplaces, and online.

We welcome new treatments for this disabling condition and this could be great news for many women.
However these new drugs aren’t new at all: they are tablet forms of “puberty blockers” that stop the production of oestrogen, so they will cause women to go into menopause.
Women would be better off with real innovation, which looks at the causes of endometriosis rather than just giving us pills to cover up the symptoms.
Why is there so little research into women’s conditions?
