Shame if you happened to be doing your job as a farmer and were out at market for the entire time the window was open. This is what happened to my constituent who has lost out on valuable funding. Fastest finger on the button is not a grownup way to allocate government money.
Window 2 of the Sustainable Farming Incentive 2026 (SFI26) closed at 15:48. Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit an application.

What is wrong with @DefraGovUK? They just don’t get it. Farmers have had an enough… we can’t keep expecting them to scrape by in such a ridiculous way.

'Tourism tax' could be 'massive' for Cornwall, Andy Burnham says on visit - Cornwall Live
The irony! 👇👇👇
As a day visitor to Cornwall, our PM would have dodged the very same Tourism Tax he wants other visitors to pay!

Just read all 9 of @LordGrimdark First Law books in a little less than two months. Absolutely brilliant, compulsive reading and I picked up so much more, both thematically and nods and throwbacks to previous events second time round. Bravo!
I was inspired to read them all again after reading the Sharp Ends collection over the summer. @LordGrimdark I don't suppose there's any chance there's going to be a wider release of the Age of Madness short stories? Would love to read them!
Let's see if this does as much justice to the epic Last of Us 2, as Season 1 did to the first game! 🥰🥰🥰
Saw this today and thought of you for some reason @jack_murley

All of the profits from a £22 billion Government investment in carbon capture tech are destined for the pockets of BP & other huge energy companies. Instead a fair share should go to supporting farmers to deliver natural carbon capture👇
The government’s sudden halt to nature-friendly farming support has left farmers struggling. With risks of budget cuts, where can funding come from? 🌿

3 September 2024 is Merchant Navy Day.
Today we recognise all seafarers who sail under a Red Ensign.
The Fishermen's Mission Head Office flies ours with pride (although a bit of wind would be nice!) #MerchantNavyDay
Amazing time at #AEWAllIn last night. Words just can't do it justice, just WOW!
Really great time at #RevPro12YA with my youngest. We sat near the commentators and Roo was probably just as excited when @WillOspreay came out to watch the matches a few times - a really excellent and varied evening and you could tell just how invested Will was by the reactions!
Replying to @davemeltzerWON
@davemeltzerWON thanks for putting out the Kindle editions of your combined issues from 1995. Pt1 of 1995 doesn't seem to have reviews of the Royal Rumble or Slamboree in it, is this an error with the copy I have or were they missed from your archives for some reason? Cheers!
@davemeltzerWON don't know if you saw my original post above, but having a similar issue with pt1 1997, Issue that presumably would have been dated 31 March and had WM13 review etc appears to be missing from the Kindle edition, any idea how I can fix this? Cheers!
