A friend in Gaborone just explained this to me: “President Boko declined the title His Excellency saying he’s the same ‘boy’ they’ve always known who continues to champion human rights - hence to remain with the title Advocate. So all the Presidential Portraits that are put in public places had to be reprinted to remove His Excellency and put Advocate.” Then killed me with this; “Apparently he had also refused to exit the WhatsApp groups he was in [before he became president] but I think by now he’s been kicked out.”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hmmh, why do the Batswana refer to “President Advocate Duma Boko”? If he was an architect he’d be “President Architect Duma Boko”?

Mongoose usually attack snakes as a tag team with incredible reflex!
Please what's this animal fighting snake called my Goodness?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video depicts an impossible real-world scene, as mongooses are not native to Arizona's Sonoran Desert with saguaro cacti and rattlesnakes; similar clips are AI-generated. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongoose easystreetmarkets.com/wildlife/arizo… plantnative.org/native-plants/… youtube.com/shorts/J2_flXk…

Ugandan's are doing everything to surrvive in this wobbly economy! If you have this brand, watch out, its lights are the new hot selling "cake" among what my Chinese friends baptised as Uganda's "Ali Babas"

He is the true representative of impunity in Uganda. The late Matovu won over 90% of the polling stations in Busiro South but under super tight security - Kenan Opio was declared winner of MP election for Busiro South. The man is very clearly not an OPIO but that's his name 🤔🤔

Loud headlines make for great distraction. Read between the lines and you'll see another green space in the city is quietly changing hands. May God uphold we.

For people wondering how China and the west deliver phoenominal civil construction projects, the answer lies in such turnnel boring machines (TBC)/technology. In short, even Uganda can have an underground if our leaders guided by technocrats think big!
South Africa imported this machine for @TheGautrain construction. Apparently they left the machine underground

Certain that the Rev. Prof. Stephen Noll is quite satisfied that both Rev. Dr. Senyonyi and now, Prof. Aaron Mushungyezi have kept this place well, academically and infrastructurally. Unknown to most, UCU recycles its waste water for further use standard.ucu.ac.ug/ucus-trea…

Rural Kenya. Thanks to effective "devolution." Note: Roads are rarely discussed nor seen as "gifts" from leaders. They are a basic necessity and a given.
