🚨 DOG STABBED THROUGH BODY, LEFT TO DIE IN AGONY | OWNER AVOIDS PRISON | VICTORIA LODGE, 33, BOURNEMOUTH A woman who stabbed her adopted dog through the body with a carving knife, puncturing her lung, has avoided immediate prison. Celine, a Macedonian sheepdog, was left bleeding and suffering for hours. Instead of seeking veterinary help, Victoria Lodge cleaned blood from her home. Emergency workers found Celine barely alive, with a trail of blood leading to her. Paramedics treated the horrific wound, but despite their efforts, she died. When asked if she wanted to accompany Celine to the animal hospital, Lodge told them: “Get the f* out of my house.” Just three months after adopting Celine, Lodge had described her online as “stupid”, “unmanageable” and “demon spawn”, admitting she hated her. She had also contacted a charity helpline threatening to harm herself or the dog. A shelter had arranged to take Celine, but Lodge later called to say its help was no longer needed because the dog was dead. Bournemouth Crown Court heard the knife had passed right through Celine's body, causing bruising as it emerged from the other side. Despite the horrific cruelty, Lodge received a two-year community order, probation supervision and an indefinite ban on keeping animals. She admitted animal cruelty. Her two cats were signed over to the RSPCA. Celine endured a horrific attack and hours of suffering before dying. Lodge walked away from court without an immediate custodial sentence.
