On 6th November 2026, the Gajapati district labour machinery conducted joint raid and rescue operations across Mohana block as part of the "44-Days campaign for child labour-free Gram Panchayats." Officials inspected various establishments—including garages, grocery stores, saloons, dhabas, and hotels,and distributed awareness leaflets to the public and shop owners. Organised by the District Labour Machinery, Sambalpur, these competitions aimed to create awareness among the students. Similarly, raid and rescue operation was conducted at Paradeep Municipality of Jagatsinghpur by the concerned District Labour Machinery. On 31st October 2026, an amount of Rs.2.45 crore was disbursed to 671 registered building and other construction workers under the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana by the District Labour Machinery, Jajpur. Similarly, Rs.17 lakh was disbursed to the nine nominees of deceased unorganized workers under the Odisha Unorganized Workers' Welfare Board.
