Pierre Poilievre never said one positive word in all his rambling hatred and lies about $ 25 million in the budget to assist the victims in Wainwright, his actual riding. Tells you everything you need to know about Pierre, he cares about himself, only himself.

This is a ridiculous take from Danielle Smith. She chose to appease Trump instead of standing up to him. In other words, she literally did the exact opposite of what American voters just did at the polls. How on earth is this “vindication” for her approach?

My take on the UCP’s plan to steal the next election by gerrymandering electoral boundaries: “This is a red line that we can’t allow the UCP to cross. We must be prepared to fight against the dangerous Americanization of our electoral system.”

All of Pierre's MAGA friends got kicked to the curb 😁 Pierre is next !
Governor @GregAbbott_TX met with Canadian Opposition Leader Pierre Poilievre today at the Governor's Mansion. The Governor and the Opposition Leader spoke about boosting trade ties, especially in regard to Canada and Texas' booming energy industries.

Life presents us with choices every day, and the easiest road is rarely the one that leads to the greatest personal growth. Whether in business, relationships, or leadership, the temptation to take shortcuts, seek immediate rewards, or avoid difficult decisions can be powerful. But character, wisdom, and lasting success are built through patience, discipline, and the willingness to do what is right rather than what is convenient. The direction we choose today doesn't just determine where we end up tomorrow. It determines who we become along the way. @liberal_party #leadership

In QP today Pierre resurrected his " Axe The Tax " rhetoric again. Pierre is all political theatre speaking straight to the cameras again campaigning, he has no facts, zero qualifications and his time is up, " Axe The Ass " !

Scoop! How much taxpayer money is Danielle Smith and the UCP spending on "Your Province, Your Premier"? How many 10's millions are going to a single private company for "disruption"? And what about Bruce McAllisters little program? thebreakdownab.substack.com/…

“We were able to capture the opportunity that was provided by the market.” In other words, BP “captured” billions in profits by charging consumers more without having to invest more or take on more risk. It’s the definition of windfall profits — and it shouldn’t be allowed.
bp’s CEO calls it a “banner quarter” for her refineries. Meg O’Neill told Bloomberg TV that bp “was able to capture the opportunity that was provided by the market”. The opportunity was a refining margin of $46.70 a barrel, up from $15.80 a year ago. 🔹 Underlying profit $ 8.5bn, up from $ 2.2bn, the highest in 18 years, per Bloomberg 🔹 Fuels and refining unit $ 6.9bn, up from $ 1.7bn 🔹 Net debt down $ 8.4bn in 3 months bp didn’t build anything new. The wars took refineries offline in 🇷🇺 Russia and the Middle East, and bp’s plants kept running. So the windfall went to paying down debt and buybacks stay off until the strategy update on 15 December. bp wasn’t alone. Shell, TotalEnergies and bp made $ 28.4bn between them in Q3, and in my latest article I show how much of it came from refining and which of the 3 gained the most: themerchantsnews.substack.co…

This is an excellent survey, and I encourage every Albertan and every Canadian to take a few minutes to complete it. It takes very little time, but it offers something valuable: an opportunity to examine your own views, challenge your assumptions, and gain a little perspective. Time well spent. Canada is facing serious challenges, both from external pressures and from political forces within our own borders that appear increasingly willing to align themselves with those pressures. I believe the Conservative Party of Canada has lost its way, while Alberta’s UCP government continues to pursue a direction I consider deeply damaging to our province and our country. You don’t hitch your wagon to a presidential dumpster fire and expect to emerge unscathed. Sooner or later, you have to answer for where that wagon is taking us. @liberal_party @LukaszukAB @TheBreakdownAB @gilmcgowan @gator_gum @MargTokar @kim_gaetz @PaulStewartII With link this time. 😊😇 forever-canadian.ca/en/surve…

The UCP’s Justice Minister just told Elections Alberta to pound sand and do as they’re told. He was also dismissive of the courts. My prediction: they’ll ram their gerrymandering bill through the Legislature and then call a snap election to forestall court challenges.
Please see my letter below responding to the Chief Electoral Officer’s recent correspondence regarding next year’s provincial election.

Are we really going to give them billions at exactly the same time they’re making record profits — and shipping those profits out for the province to American investors? We released a report about this. Huge profits, huge production, but fewer jobs. afl.org/press-release-new-af…

As the owners of the resource, Albertans really need to pay more attention to what’s going on with our biggest oil sands companies, all of which are majority foreign owned (mostly by Americans).

BREAKING!!!! The NDP have released a letter sent today from Elections Alberta raising the alarm that because of Danielle Smith's gerrymandering, only two options exist! 1 - Use the current boundaries 2 - Push the election back even father than she already has! #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

“Edmonton’s neighbourhoods are changing, but at very different rates. Its housing policies should reflect those differences. Decisions about how the city grows should follow the evidence, rather than impose uniform restrictions on neighbourhoods experiencing very different pressures.” #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
New op-ed in the @edmontonjournal with @RafaelGottardo. We find infill is concentrated in a handful of Edmonton neighbourhoods and argue that the provincial government's blanket rollback ignores these differences and risks restricting much-needed housing. edmontonjournal.com/opinion/…
