It was a Bipartisan Bitcoin Bro day with my congressman @RepSuhas @SuhasforVA and also @Rep_Davidson @WarrenDavidson who both voted for the GENIUS and CLARITY bills. One is now law, the other crashed and burned. Thank you to both for their in-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency and advocacy with their fellow Members of Congress. Look forward to working with them and our other allies in the next session of Congress.

Today we were featured in the New York Times! The reporter spent 6 days with us this summer: attending our programs, talking with our interns, and learning about the vision of woman hood we are sharing with young women!! ⬇️ nytimes.com/2026/08/24/us/co… @VivianHYee @nytimes
The New York Times published an article about the Luce Center today highlighting the conservative vision of womanhood we’re sharing with young women—one we believe offers something truer and more compelling than what they’re hearing from the culture. There’s a story behind the article. When reporter Vivian Yee registered for our Washington, DC Summit in June, I wanted to avoid the kind of “creative” reporting we experienced after last summer’s Summit. So, in the weeks before the Summit, I hurriedly wrote a series of questions and answers explaining what we believe about women and planned to give it to Vivian as a booklet. As we worked on it, we decided it was something worth sharing more broadly. That booklet became a book called The Truth About Women: 23 Questions All Conservatives Should Be Able to Answer About Women, which is now available on Amazon. When I met Vivian in person at the Summit, I handed her the first edition and offered to answer any questions she may have. She told me definitively that she was not writing an article about us, that she was just there to observe. Then she spent hours sitting at a table with our interns. Five days later, she told me she had spoken with her editor and wanted to observe our summer internship program up close. In all, Vivian spent six days with us, attending seminars and spending hours in conversation with our staff and interns. The result is this article, published today. Vivian is not conservative, so I certainly wasn’t expecting an endorsement of our work. But from my interactions with her and her previous reporting, I was hopeful she would take our ideas seriously and represent them fairly and accurately. I think she did. Here’s a few excerpts: “The Luce Center, a donor-funded nonprofit, says its mission is to mold young women into ‘strong, conservative leaders’ like the center’s eponym, the congresswoman, diplomat and conservative activist Clare Boothe Luce. “With a new book, campus events and other programming, Ms. Begg is trying to offer a vision of womanhood and marriage that she says avoids the ‘false choices’ presented by conservatives and liberals. “From some conservatives, including people Ms. Begg considers ideological allies on other issues, the message is ‘a diminishing of women’s intelligence and a discouraging of women from using their gifts, their God-given gifts,’ she said. “From some on the left, young women hear ‘the denial of biological sex and the devaluing of marriage, motherhood and family,’ Ms. Begg said…. “The summer internship program, which is paid, offers Ms. Begg another avenue to counter what she sees as harmful messages. “The interns don’t fetch coffee or answer phones. Instead, they receive a crash course in practical and professional skills, alongside tutelage in conservative principles. One day is dedicated to media training and public speaking, another to constitutional law. In July, the interns visited the United Nations in New York. A National Review columnist, Caroline Downey, came to speak about what she described as Gen Z’s dangerous embrace of socialism. Later came training in self-defense and firearms and a tour of the Museum of the Bible…. “During the book discussion, Ms. Begg invoked Mary Wollstonecraft’s argument that education in critical thinking would train girls for the professions, as well as to be wives capable of raising virtuous children. “The women’s rights advocate, she told her audience, said that ‘we should never understand domestic life as inferior.’” I’m grateful for the time that Vivian spent getting to know our work and the remarkable women involved with the Luce Center. Link in comments to the article and two books mentioned in the article, The Truth About Women: 23 Questions All Conservatives Should Be Able to Answer About Women and Erika Bachiochi’s The Rights of Women: Reclaiming a Lost Vision. @cblwomen @VivianHYee @erikabachiochi @carolinedowney_

Larry Lepard is the bitcoin bloodhound!! His response to a post in a Bank of England affiliated blog from six years ago: The author works for an organization that is threatened by Bitcoin. Upton Sinclair said it best, “it is difficult to get a man to understand something when his income depends upon his not understanding it.” The author fails to mention the most important characteristic of Bitcoin. That is that its supply is limited to 21 million units. Unlike fiat currency which can be printed into oblivion. Bitcoin is a superior store of value versus fiat currency. This is why it was created (see the White Paper). @LawrenceLepard bankunderground.co.uk/2018/1…

This WWII B-29 Superfortress visiting our local airport today towered over everything. We had a close up view of takeoff, landing and runway maneuvering. A T-6 1970s-era trainer also stopped by. Both offered rides for the aventuresome, although for a stiff fare.

Bitcoin is Freedom I spent the last few weeks in my motherland, Vietnam. The country has transformed since my family escaped in 1978. It is more prosperous, energetic, and ambitious than the Vietnam I left behind. A young population, rising investment, and global aspiration have created extraordinary momentum. And yet one thing remains clear. For many in Vietnam, the ultimate dream is still America. And if they cannot make it to America, they want to wear American brands, eat American food, listen to American music, and exude American confidence. My trip to Vietnam reminded me of this, and the World Cup has made it visible on a global stage. America remains not only a country people admire, but a place people still want to reach, represent, and belong to. The United States remains the land of the free, the Wild Wild West, and the home of the American Dream. Walmart and Waffle House. Boston and Austin. Silicon Valley and Wall Street. A country where people can still rise from welfare to extraordinary success through hard work, ingenuity, risk taking, and some luck. My family experienced that promise directly. We arrived in America as refugees, sponsored by a Catholic church in Syracuse, New York. We received public assistance, food stamps, and free school lunches. My father worked three jobs. We lived frugally and dealt with poverty and racism. America was not easy, but it was open. It gave us a system where effort, education, entrepreneurship, and perseverance could compound. This is America. The world still aspires to be like us. What has made America successful over the last 250 years is not accidental. It is a principled Constitution, geographic scale, abundant resources, and a culture of liberty, capitalism, entrepreneurship, and reinvention. Other nations try to replicate the recipe, but often waver. Interventionism, bureaucracy, corruption, and ego get in the way. Which brings me to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the United States of money. It aspires to do for money what the American Constitution aspired to do for government: create a system governed by transparent rules rather than the discretion of individuals. Built on a principled white paper, digitally enforced scarcity, and proof of work, Bitcoin is digital capital governed by code, energy, and consensus. But beyond that, Bitcoin is hope. It provides hope for those who have worked hard for their money and want to protect it from monetary inflation. It provides hope for those born in countries without reliable rule of law or economic freedoms. It provides hope for anyone seeking protection, opportunity, and a form of property that does not depend on geography, politics, or permission. I was born in the year of America’s bicentennial. Fifty years later, the future of American dominance is being questioned. I have no question. The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. My life is proof of what America makes possible. I left Vietnam as a refugee, grew up poor in America, built a career through education and hard work, and now have a wonderful wife and three children. That is the American Dream to me. It is not just wealth. It is freedom, family, opportunity, and the ability to determine your own future. That is also why Bitcoin resonated with me. I found Bitcoin because it reflected the same principles that shaped my life: clear rules, individual sovereignty, property rights, resilience, open competition, and long-term conviction. America gave my family freedom through a country. Bitcoin offers individuals monetary freedom through a network. One opened the door for me. The other opens a door for anyone, anywhere, to protect the fruits of their labor. That is why Bitcoin is freedom.

Talking with Strategy CEO Phong Le at Bitcoin26. We discussed the STRC preferred shares proposal to pay dividends 24 times/yr rather than 12, to reduce volatility. Vote YES by June 8 if you are a shareholder! @phongle @Strategy We sat next to each other on the plane to Bitcoin25 last year. Phong was not in First Class, had no security, and I didn't recognize him despite being a shareholder! *****Here's the best part: He was wearing a Strategy branded company golf shirt in the plane. I asked him if he got it as swag at a meeting or convention. He said no, he worked for the company. LOLOLLL I still didn't realize he was the CEO!!! He asked me why I owned MSTR shares, and described the recently issued suite of preferred offerings (STRC was not yet available). At our hotel, my wife said, "That guy you were talking to, I've seen him on CNBC or someplace." We checked out the Strategy company website, and there was his picture, definitely the same guy LOLOL! Much higher profile now, and with security, he was all over the map at this year's convention. Both a brilliant business mind and a genuine nice guy.
