Life continues. You just gotta accept it.
Dems will probably win presidency and then fumble somewhere after that and the cycle repeats. It always does.

The fact that this is always their #1 concern not the rampant crime, sex trafficking, homelessness etc.
Bro technically this happened
This has to be the worst take I have seen here. This is like an r+75 seat

I think I like him more than probably any other freshman Dem other than maybe Josh Turek
He does seem genuine in trying to find common ground and ran a pretty flawless campaign against Hyde Smith who ran no campaign
I really hope he votes like he ran on and not be a partisan piece of shit like Jon Ossoff

America spent so much time in the 2000s and 2010s doing regime change against secular leaders that they forgot how to actually fight the Islamists.

People are losing their virginity at younger and younger ages and getting married and having children at older and older ages and that's genuinely a sign of rot in our society.

If AOC runs against Schumer for Senate, she will 100% have my support.
This isn’t a rational thing. I just want to see that Shylock destroyed by forces he’s spent a decade coddling.
Ugh Republicans lost another house seat. This guy should have absolutely dominated. But alas the incumbent lost
Progressive Democrats have launched a campaign to get Hindu Indian Rep. Ro Khanna to run for president in 2028.
Former Rep. Jamaal Bowman and others are heading the effort.

Democrats: Paul LePage’s win wasn’t a mandate! We’ll get him in 28!
Reality: yes, it was. He is the only man left standing after a blue tsunami and the only flip in the country that didn’t come from redistricting.
This was your moment. You failed. He didn’t barely win in an R+5 year. He won in the most hostile climate we’ve seen in many cycles.

Saddam was someone who was actually willing to die for what he believed in, unlike 99% of people today.
This, and so many other replies to the video, are perfect examples of how entirely unaffected certain people's minds are by not just reality, but by on-video, 20-year-old, verifiable historical events.
Regardless of who Saddam Hussein was or wasn't as a human being, the fact is that he was not only composed and defiant in the face of his death sentence (on video here), but he remained composed and defiant through his last breath as he was hanged (widely available video on the internet).
All else aside, at no moment during his sentencing, or during his execution, did this man ever flinch.
At his hanging, Saddam Hussein refused the black hood. He mocked those heckling him from the assembled onlookers. He condemned the invading US forces. He insulted the guards who insulted him. When asked if he was afraid, he said he was not afraid, as he lived the life of a fighter. He was executed as he recited a prayer from his faith.
But, to the midwitted human mind, "Saddam = bad," therefore, "Saddam acted like a coward when he was sentenced to death" and "Saddam faced his death like a coward."
They know, deep inside themselves, that they would lose control of their bladder and bowels, then lose consciousness, if they were faced with a similar situation. But, since "Saddam = bad" and "me = good," they self-soothe by inverting the reality they see with their own eyes.
Any fully sentient human being with an honest bone in his body should be able to acknowledge that even his worst enemy faced death with composed defiance if, indeed, he did.
Saddam Hussein did.
These same simpletons will read this post as an unambiguous exaltation of Hussein, rather than an entirely accurate description of recorded - literally video recorded - history.
Hopefully they'll also read it as an insult, because it is.
