Associate membership? Like, why?
Muslim Brotherhood-inspired Islamists participated alongside rioters in France who set police officers on fire. Yes, Islamists and leftists..they want French people dead or France weakened.

I keep hearing costs, more costs, and more costs on things that don't have anything to do with Canada. Mark Carney, translated from French; "With this new alliance for the future, the idea is to find large-scale solutions: > Defending Ukraine > Rebuilding Ukraine > Fighting climate change > Financing that climate change fight" Huh?!

Trade with Europe? Absolutely. But European Union taxation, regulation, and migration? Heck no. Mark Carney is pursuing EU โ€œassociate membershipโ€ without telling Canadians what it means. Our sovereignty is not for sale. Canada must never be a star on someone elseโ€™s flag.

I have no doubt that all of this is true. But I do not trust Ursula von der Leyen or Mark Carney. Heโ€™s been having secret meetings with the EU since he first got elected. I also think this is about London globalists going after Trump, and with the midterms days away, theyโ€™re no doubt upping the game. But for me it comes down to this...I don't trust either of these ghouls. They're up to something nefarious ๐Ÿคจ

"Canada is by far the most European of the non-European countries." Argentina likely has the highest share of its local population with ties to the EU most of them even holding EU citizenship alongside their Argentine nationality. Uruguay would likely follow closely and Brazil wouldn't be too far behind. In all three countries, people with EU descent exceeds 80% (with ties to Portugal, Spain, Italy and Germany particularly prominent). About two-thirds of Canadians, however, have no ties to any current EU member state so not sure where this notion comes from since most Canadians have zero personal EU ties.
EU's Antรณnio Costa: "We are here to build an alliance for the future. The most closer, the most deepest, the most stronger association ever between European Union and a non-European country. Canada is by far the most European of the non-European countries."

Does this sound like Canada will remain a sovereign nation? Why does our Parliament need to discuss anything with an unelected Parliament in Europe? Why is our court system aligning with a another court system system across an ocean? This is the second time weโ€™ve heard this from von der Leyen. Itโ€™s messaging.

Who agrees with me that Carney has no mandate to take Canada into any-form of EU alliance? He was elected to get an USA trade deal done ! He wasnโ€™t empowered to make this unilateral decision without HOC debate and vote ! He is leveraging his manufactured majority to pass this ! Alarming !

Claiming 70% of Canadians want "associate EU membership" is untrue. We hear a lot of grand promises and big buzzwords, but as always, the devil is in the details. Look past the headline at the actual Leger data: - 70% like the idea of closer trade ties and travel. - Only 25% support handing over Canadian regulatory control to match EU standards. - EU capitals are already shutting the door on the whole idea. Anyone in business knows you don't sign a deal before reading the fine print. Canadians want sensible trade, not surrendering our sovereignty to the bureaucrats in Brussels. Common sense usually wins when you ask the questions the right way.
Mark Carney's globalist forays rejected, including EU associate membership. Yet 70% of Canadians support Carney according to polling. Believe that number? - Von der Leyenโ€™s โ€˜associate membershipโ€™ Canada bid put her on a collision course with EU countries euronews.com/2026/10/27/von-โ€ฆ

Canada is facing an EU carbon tariff in the coming months that could affect $3B in Canadian exports. Instead of fixing the issue, the PM has spent months distracting Canadians with talk of the EU. As the EU Summit wraps today, will the carbon tariff have been lifted - OR - will the Liberals raise their industrial carbon tax to meet the new standard?

Zero pushback, zero criticism, zero consequences. โ€œ51st stateโ€ was a supposed attack on Canada, the media went nuts, they fed Canadians fear and hatred over it because they were told to by The Government. 51st State bad but 28th Member State good?
