al-Ḥajjāj b. Yūsuf and His Loyalty to `Uthmān b.
Ibn `Asākir mentioned that an old man came to al-Ḥajjāj trembling a lot and said, “O Commander, I am upon the weakness that you see and I have a son who is stronger than I am in regard to traveling; would you accept him as a substitute for me?”
So al-Ḥajjāj said to him, “We will do so, old man.”
Thus, when the old man left, someone said to al-Ḥajjāj, “Do you know who that is, O Commander?”
al-Ḥajjāj said, “No.”
He said, “This is `Umayr b. Ḍābi al-Burjumī, whose father used to say (in a poem):
‘I intended but I did not act and I almost did; and I wish … I had left for the wives of `Uthmān to weep for him.’
And this old man entered upon `Uthmān when he was killed and he stepped on his stomach thus breaking two of his ribs.”
So al-Ḥajjāj said, “Bring him back!”
When he was brought back, al-Ḥajjāj said to him, “O old man, why did you not send a substitute to the Commander of the Believers `Uthmān b. `Affān on the day of the house? Verily, O old man, there is a benefit for the Muslims in killing you.”
[Then al-Ḥajjāj added] “Guards, strike his neck!”

Jake Blockettela thinks he’s some kind of juggernaut when it comes to Islam
When in reality he’s a chenapan idiot who has No knowledge of Islam and never fails to make mockery of himself in his debates or his videos
Just look at how he lampoons himself against Jay dyer
Saffarini is a mushrik kafir who does istaghatha according to ibin uthaymeen and rest of the wahabis
So why are you happy?
Imām al-Saffārīnī’s endorsement of Kitāb al-Tawḥīd by Sh Muḥammad Ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb
Sh Sulaymān Ibn ʿAbdullāh, the grandson of Sh Muḥammad Ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhāb, explains that many scholars were sent copies of Kitāb al-Tawḥīd for review, with these scholars endorsing and approving of its content.
Sh Sulaymān then explains that these scholars were unable to support the najdī daʾwah in practice due to their lack of power and authority.
• Sh Sulaymān Ibn ʿAbdullāh Āl al-Shaykh said:
❝As for the distinction mentioned, it is not the reason for sending it, for it was not sent in order to be drafted and then approved; rather, it had already been drafted and approved by eminent Shaykhs and great authorities among them: the Syrian shaykhs, Shaykh ʿAlī Efendi al-Dāghistānī—whose name we have already mentioned—and his cousin Shaykh ʿAbd al-Karīm Efendi al-Dāghistānī, Shaykh Muḥammad al-Burhānī, Shaykh ʿUthmān al-Diyār Bakrī, a resident of Madīnah al-Munawwarah, and Shaykh Muḥammad al-Saffārīnī, a resident of Nābulus. A copy was sent to him, and he approved and endorsed it apart from the Shaykhs who have already been mentioned; for among them were those who fully grasped its wording, and all of them approved it, refined it, and granted authorization (ijāzah) for it.
Their excuse, however, is the lack of assistance enabling them to carry out what it contains regarding establishing the religion and purifying it for the Lord of the Worlds. Otherwise, this is what they themselves hold as their religion before Allāh in regard to themselves, their families, and their companions from among their clans. Yet they are unable to forbid people from what they have believed, practiced, and spoken, because that requires an established sword and a just Imām, and that is presently unattainable except by the grace and bringing-about of Allāh.❞

These Wahabis and their creed. Embarrassing
You’d think they’d learn not to engage in philosophical debates after watching Jake blocketella
Notice how @muslimorthodoxy asks chris to give the reductio but as soon as i want to he says its a red herring!
We all knew he would run away from anything that has to do with philosophy or his God🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol all his scholars he quote are from our time
So much for following the salaf
Replying to @kimo_433
It is a major sign of ignorance to think that Salafis—whom they refer to as “Wahabis”—declare the act of nidā to be shirk in all of its forms.
Rather, there is no issue with saying “yā Muhammad” or “yā ‘Ali” as long as the intention of the munādī [one who does nidā] does not contradict the sharī’a.
Imam Mahmūd Shukrī al-Ālūsī said:
No one said that the mere act of nidā is worship. Rather, it is evidently known that the supplication of worship is to call out for that which none but Allah can do whether it is sought from one who is alive or deceased; this is what the ijmā’ [consensus] has been established upon.
| Fath al-Manān, by Mahmūd Shukrī al-Ālūsī, p. 291.
He also added that it’s impermissible to call upon someone unless they are alive, present, and they are not asked to fulfill a task which only Allah can fulfill; refer to his other book Ghāyat al-Amānī fī-Rad ‘alā-Nabhānī, vol. 1, p. 370.
Sh. Muhammad b. Sālih al-`Uthaymīn said:
If one were to praise him (i.e. the scholar) with anything and said: “May Allah bestow His mercy upon you, O Sheikh” for example. There is no harm this.
| Fatāwā Nūr ‘alā-Darb, by Ibn ‘Uthaymīn, vol. 4, p. 2.
Sh. Muhammad Sālih al-Munajjid said:
Nidā is not shirk unless it contains seeking help from other than Allah and requesting from him something that none is capable of doing except Allah. Calling out to someone absent or an inanimate object is not shirk. Rather, the ruling differs based on the intention behind the nidā. That is because nidā in the language of the Arabs, even though in it there is the answer for a certain request, it can be used for other different meanings that can be understood based on the context clues. And the evidences of that from the language of the Arabs and their poems are plentiful.

Beneficial thread. I would also like to add that Ibin Qutaybah also took the attributes of laughter and amazement metaphorically and said
“God’s laughter is from what makes humans laugh and his amazement is from what humans are amazed by”

An Islamaphobe entered the mosque and asked the Imam to teach him how to pray, and while our brother was kneeling in prostration, he was stabbed from behind 50 times. The media will never circulate this though.
