Yes Ross new. Some of us have been here a whole lot longer. Your cabal of careerists have destroyed our party and any hope of independence in our lifetime, perhaps forever. #NewSNPLeftMe

This is one of the most illiberal, invasive and appalling pieces of legislation ever to come before Parliament.
The Conversion Practices Bill isn’t about preventing gay children from being abusively coerced into being straight. That is already rightly illegal.
It will criminalise well-intentioned conversations between parents and gender-confused children, discussions with therapists, and religious leaders sharing their faith’s teachings with their congregations.
A parent could face up to five years in prison simply for trying to dissuade their child from embarking on irreversible, dangerous and life-changing medical pathways before the age of 18.
In his letter to the pre-legislative scrutiny committee, the Minister for Equalities attempts to reassure us that the bill respects “freedom of religion and parental rights”.
It does no such thing.
So much for the Labour Government’s promise to tread more lightly on our lives. It is not the state’s role to dictate what conversations parents can have with their young children around the dinner table.
Parents know best — not ministers.

That press release fails to point out that the Police have passed on information to COPF concerning a breach of section 6 of the Companies Act 2006. It's now up to COPF to act on that potential offence.

It is a humdinger of a motion - taking in changing adultery in marriage breakdown, changes to immigration, legal rights for multiple partners inc on benefits and pensions, and a bit of getting polyamory into sex ed in schools.

OMG ! Men form a circle around a 16 yo so she can safely speak about having to compete against boys. Activists try to drown out her words with sirens !
When your side has to use sirens to drown out what a 16 yo girl might say, you are on the wrong side

Why am i dragging my self to work every day to pay for old men like this? I want the benefit of keeping some of the money i earn in my own pocket instead of it going to look after this lazy arse hole.
Bloody sick of it!

Nansi Williams was a dinner lady at Pantglas Junior School when the slurry hit. She threw herself over the children nearest to her. Five survived. She didn’t. On 30 October a Purple Plaque will bear her name. Today we remember #Aberfan, and Nansi. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cw1m…

No reasonable sane person could disagree with this. Unfortunately they are neither reasonable nor sane. Thank you for everything you do.

I wrote a new piece about women’s rights and whether or not I want trans people dead. (Spoiler: I don’t)👇

Who knows how many women with "trans" identitites die from pulmonary embolisms when their blood thickens due to injecting male levels of testosterone which their female bodies are not made to handle?
Seems it is commonly misdiagnosed. Maybe @TTExulansic knows more.

Andrew Doyle told me he was stunned by what he saw from people he once considered friends.
After Ann Widdecombe's murder, he says former colleagues were posting comments he found so disturbing that it made him question whether the culture war had fundamentally changed them.

"I was laughed at. Wishart and others thought it was hysterical that I would raise independence."
Neale Hanvey
[There were audio issues at this point]
"The SNP has been taken from a party that was full of thinkers and intellectuals and doers and achievers, to people who are so mediocre, you know, to call them mediocre is to understate how bad the situation is.
"The sad reality is, when I went down to Westminster in 2019 and I thought when I got there, I was joining 50-odd MPs who were determined to secure Scotland's independence.
"And at the first SNP group, when I rejoined the group, I asked the question at the end of the meeting, when are we going to talk about our strategy for independence? What's the plan, guys? You know, how are we pushing this way or that way? And there was no plan.
"I was laughed at. Wishart and others thought it was hysterical that I would raise independence.
"But that is where they are, guys, you know, until the movement wakens up to the fact that the people we're electing, and even if a roaring success at the next Westminster election, the chances are that we will have mediocre people who have no real interest in independence going down there to enjoy it as a bit of a jolly. I've seen it with ma own eyes.
"As soon as I was aware of the con-game that was going on with the SNP group and raised it, I got it in the neck.
"And what really saddens me is in 2014, I'll go back to that example. In 2014, you could go into any pub, any cafe, anywhere in Scotland and people would be talking about the future of Scotland in an informed and credible way.
"And now, they are closing their ears to the reality, where we have people who have no interest in realising that future, being elected on an SNP ticket.
"And I'm sorry, but that has to be corrected. If we are ever going to achieve independence, then the people who are going to occupy those seats must be sincere about the cause of independence."
