So much of the talk around Klint Kubiak has changed over the last 4 weeks. I know losses will do that, but he went from a quality hire to a numbskull in a month (to some people), as if we didn’t know those last 4 games would be the toughest stretch on the schedule.

🎯🎯🎯 My ENTIRE point why I want him to continue to sit. Half of the fanbase doing it with Kubiak right now. And they were 💯 percent endorsing the hire.

Sounds crazy, but I still think they can get to 7 wins if their best players stay healthy. A lot also depends on when/if Fernando Mendoza plays.

I love that Matthew Stafford and Kirk Cousins are both 38 years old and starting QB’s. I married Kenny when he was 38. He was the 2nd oldest player in the league.

Raiders won't be able to consistently compete until they fix their OL and DL. They are not winning in the trenches whatsoever

Someone check Burford's cleats and see if he's wearing ice skates instead. ufff

On second down, Burford just got completely walked back by the DT. DT met the RB in the backfield. Really awful Burford rep.

Nice lead block by Heyward as well. Play was set up for success by the blockers.

Good block by Cody White to set his run up.

RB Dylan Laube (@dylan_laube) notches 42 yards on his second kickoff return of the day. He has now recorded four kickoff returns of 40+ yards this season, the most in the NFL. #RaiderNation | @Raiders

Nacua is the Rams only WR and he still isn't being covered. I don't get it.

Ticky-tack penalty on Eichenberg. I didn't see anything that looked deserving.

Rams are targeting Caleb Rogers for their pressure - making him make decisions, etc.

#Raiders didn’t elevate a RB from the practice squad ahead of the game. And when Kubiak was asked Friday about Washington, he said “We’re expecting him to be ready.”

Raiders RB Mike Washington Jr. (foot/back) is considered a game-time decision today vs Rams, per sources. Some optimism exists but Raiders needs to see how he feels today.

The following NFL teams are in attendance for No. 7 Ole Miss @ No. 19 Texas: • Bucs (x4 including GM Jason Licht) • Patriots (x2) • Steelers (x2) • Commanders • Seahawks • Chiefs • Raiders • Jaguars • Dolphins

Completely disagree. No question he's a current upgrade but he doesn't fit the timeline for the team.

Raiders should be firmly in the mix to trade for Colts DT DeForest Buckner

The Las Vegas Raiders absolutely need DT help, but is going big-game hunting for a player like the Indianapolis Colts' DeForest Buckner viable or possible?

The Raiders not activating either RB from the practice squad is probably a good sign for Mike Washington Jr. despite his lack of practice participation

Tim Keenan revenge game! Seriously, I am interested in seeing him play if he's active tomorrow

The Raiders have elevated DT Tim Keenan and DE Cian Slone from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the Rams. They did not elevate a running back or linebacker with Mike Washington Jr. and Quay Walker questionable.

Mike Washington Jr. may be good to go then.

Good thing the Raiders didn't kick the can down the road to that generational 2027 QB class ... lol. I'll take Fernando Mendoza, thank you very much!😂

Several NFL executives expressed skepticism this week that some, if not a majority, of the projected top QBs will even enter the 2027 NFL Draft. That includes Arch Manning, whom NFL scouts have seen less of since Texas closed practice. More in The Sweep: tompelissero.substack.com/p/…
