AI is not even at 1% of where human tech is going. Yet stupid haters look at what we have today and call it useless. These guys are just like cavemen who saw fire for the first time and said we should get rid of it just because it is hot and can burn people to death.

Elon Musk is the Benjamin Franklin of our time - it’s a miracle what he’s doing. So what do the Democrats want to do with him? Put him in prison. You better wake up and fight for what’s right, right now. And the scumbag doomer grifters like Tucker, Alex Jones, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Thomas Massie are on the side of the Left. Wake up and know who the enemy of our country is.

STOP ACTING LIKE DOOMERS nothing can slow down AI at this point but it's probably time to be a little more careful the AI market is too competitive to slow down significantly. the singularity is inevitable and a few fewer data centers or responsible AI policies won't derail it

Fortunately, I have 35 years of experience in biomedical research (anyone is welcome to check my scientific record), and I have been saying the same thing for years. I completely agree with Demis: we will cure all diseases within 10 years AND reverse aging in approximately 15 years! I realize I am an exception among my colleagues, but what I find truly messed up is denying people, whether sick or healthy, this very real hope for the future. Let me explain the main reason why even brilliant scientists and experts struggle to imagine how this could possibly happen. It comes down to extreme cognitive dissonance and the enormous ego of human intelligence: if WE cannot achieve something, we find it inconceivable that MACHINE intelligence could. In fact, the smarter people are, the harder it often becomes for them to accept this possibility, and the more elaborate their coping mechanisms become. Top mathematicians have just lived through this realization, and physicists will be experiencing it soon. Yet biologists somehow feel more secure. Not because they are smarter, but because biological systems are vastly more complex. After centuries of research by some of the greatest minds in human history, the idea that AI could solve problems in biology that have eluded us for so long, and do so within just a decade or two, seems utterly inconceivable to them. Well, they will find out soon enough! As someone who understands biology deeply, I know that its complexity is not insurmountable. Yes biology IS extraordinarily complex, but it is ultimately a system governed by physical laws and principles that can be decoded, which we have been doing albeit very slowly. Achieving this in a decade will require superintelligence, vastly greater computational power, and enormous amounts of biological data. That is why I believe it will take a decade or two, compared with mathematics and physics, where AI is already making extraordinary progress at a much faster pace. The fundamental mistake is assuming that the limits of human intelligence are also the limits of intelligence itself. We have spent centuries trying to understand biology with human brains, same substrate it is made of. We are about to bring an entirely different level of intelligence to the problem, one that will eventually surpass the collective intellectual capabilities of all scientists who have ever lived. As such, I stand 100% behind Demis and others, including Dario Amodei, who have made similar predictions. Mark my words: the coming revolution in biology and medicine will be unlike anything humanity has ever experienced!
When Demis Hassabis talks about curing all diseases within 10 years, @dawallach says scientists who have spent decades studying these problems aren't necessarily buying it. "When [scientists] hear AI people say smart things, they go, 'Cool, yeah, let's run it.' Everyone respects Demis." "But when Demis says we're gonna cure all diseases in 10 years, I think people who have two PhDs and have been doing this for 40 years go, 'Come on, man.'" "You're giving a sort of false hope to a lot of people who are legitimately out there suffering or have a loved one who's on death's doorstep. That's a little messed up."

🚨UPDATE🚨 “I'm gonna be the dirtiest fucking doctor ever. I'm gonna poison her slowly.” - Ahmet Kerem Körkaya Ahmet Körkaya is one of 12 University of Michigan students arrested by the FBI this past spring, and is currently facing charges for plotting to “kill, torture, and torment” university officials who refused to divest from Israel. He was released on bail and has now landed a job as a 5th grade TEACHER and soccer coach at Salam School, a private K–12 operated by the Islamic Society of Milwaukee. 🔼Read that twice🔼 This Turkish-born terror-supporter and former medical student faces 10 to 15 years in federal prison for leading a two-year campaign of violence, intimidation, death threats, and vandalism. This past week, one of Obama’s commie/jihadist-loving judges, Judith Levy (go figure), decided to remove his ankle monitor because it hinders his sex life and his young students are confused about why he’s wearing one. Here’s what Judge Judith Levy unleashed on society: Ahmet Körkaya discussed with another student about how he was going to plow his car through the front of a Jewish university official’s home while the official’s children were inside. He told another student that he wanted to poison a Jewish university board regent for her refusal to divest from Israel: “I’m gonna be the dirtiest fucking doctor ever. I’m gonna poison her slowly.” The FBI found jihadist literature, Hamas propaganda, and artwork depicting beheadings in Körkaya’s home. In text messages to his comrades, Körkaya said he believed bombings were in his “true nature” and went on to declare that he was “going to go militant because I hate it here.” This is what we’re up against, patriots. A two-front war: the terrorists and the judges who unleash them. The FBI needs to be all over this. Again. FAST. @FBI_Response @FBI @StephenM H/T @RAIRFoundation

There are efficiency improvements coming that will allow for a 40kWh Cybercab pack. We will make this in liquid silver, so the colors are not too monotonous. The biggest thing most people fail to understand is that there are a very limited number of smart, dedicated people! They can only do so many things. If we have to maintain a complex production line, supply chain and allocate engineering for Cybertruck, we can’t use those people or factory space and machinery for scaling Cybercab, which is the vehicle that will PROFOUNDLY transform the world of terrestrial transport!

Tesla Board - this isn’t a good look. ♦️ James Murdoch is a longtime Tesla board member with a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. His Lupa Systems acquired the Vox Media Podcast Network, which distributes Scott Galloway & Kara Swisher’s Pivot podcast. ♦️ Galloway, an NYU Marketing Professor who chooses language deliberately, invoked traitors “lined up against a wall” and said Elon Musk should be treated the same. (Does he mean shot? Sounds like it.) ♦️ A few days later Galloway doubled down, said the words were incendiary, and he would say them again. This is not accidental. He did not misspeak. Tesla board members should have ZERO LINKS to anything that may be construed as a call for violence against the Tesla CEO. (Perpetually identified as a key man risk). One option to clear the conflict is to cancel or sell the podcast. There are other options too. @Tesla @elonmusk @robyndenholm @KathleeWT @IraEhrenpreis @jgebbia @kimbal
