Sorry sweetie. Genetic studies (most notably Baher et al) show all Jews have Levantine ancestry and are descended from the Caananites. There is absolutely no evidence Ashkenazi are "European converts"- they are descended from diasporic Jews.
In fact, for most of the last 2000 years, conversion to Judaism was punishable by death in Europe.

You're clearly confused Katie. Genetic similarity to Syrians, Lebanese and Palestinians doesn't mean modern "Palestinians" have lived in that specific region for millennia.
It just means they all originate from the same region. "Palestinians" could come from Syria and still very similar genetic heritage to a Jew. Just like most people in Europe are descendants of Charlemagne.
