if i had a nickel for every time the red sox traded my favorite player while i was in an old navy, i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

With Bo Nix at quarterback, the Broncos have now won 16-consecutive one-score games.
BRING HIM HOME!
EX-Red Sox Nick Pivetta is a free agent, a surprising move.
Per @sdutkevinacee, the #Padres have declined the $14M option on Pivetta's contract. San Diego could still sign him to a new deal.
Pivetta in 2026: 8 starts, 3-2, 2.86 ERA, 42 K in 34.2 IP
Would you bring him back to Boston?

Amazing career revival for Antonio Senzatela. He was the worst starter in baseball in 2025. #Rockies moved him to the pen, changed his arsenal and he excelled enough to become a trade piece. Now tonight he is pitching in World Series. Happy for Senzatela. Was total pro during time in Denver

Adam Hamilton on transgender rights:
“I don’t think we should take a small group of people and bully them, pick on them, and hurt them. I understand one thing really clearly when it comes to transgender people, and that is Jesus told me I was to love my neighbor as I love myself.”
“I’m gonna love the trans person as well as the straight person, male or female. We have to do better than picking on small groups. What’s happened is we’ve turned a group of people into a campaign issue because it polls well.”

Whoever asked Jonathan Cooper this question PROPS to you for doing that hard part of the job.
That NEEDED to be asked.
Broncos edge rusher Jonathon Cooper was asked what he'd say to women who are Broncos fans who might be uneasy about supporting him in the wake of the allegations against him: "Yeah, honestly that, I -- that's hard. I feel like relationships are difficult. No excuses on my end. And I do apologize for anybody's feelings, truthfully, just because they have to be associated with me. I'm a grown man. I'm able to take things on the chin, and just want to say that I understand the concern; I understand the level of awareness, how serious these matters are. But the legal matters will take care of themselves, and yeah, things happen. Nobody's perfect, but there is also -- there's no excuses and I do hold myself accountable and yeah. things are going to sort themselves out. I promise that."
