If Labour cannot fix such an obvious injustice and show families whose living standards have been crushed that we will fight for them, then we shouldn’t be surprised if they lose faith that anything can change.

.@AngelaRayner missed this ideal opportunity to talk about ways theyve promised to make enfranchisement cheaper ie abolishing marriage value, making freeholders liable for their own legal fees.
Although we await capitalisation and deferment rates she was definitely avoiding the question.

@michaelgove was right when he said people have more consumer protections buying a dishwasher than a new-build home. But he said that in October 2023 and we’re now 3 years on and the damage continues. The debate needs to focus on the quality of what is being built.
