From @PeteHegseth’s book (co-written with @goodwind67), Battle for the American Mind:
“No other faith can claim integration with recorded history like Christianity. No other form of education integrates everything so naturally—history, literature, language, philosophy, theology, science, art, mathematics, and music—into a single system of understanding. And from this integrated study, classical Christian students gain perspective and wisdom as they evaluate story after story through the lens of a Christian viewpoint—not as indoctrination, but rather as they investigate the historical narrative. Could it be that Progressive schools study so little history because they cannot avoid the historicity of Christianity?”

For all their talk about education not being neutral many Reformed guys are all in on technology being neutral.
I think it’s because they’re on board with Francis Bacon and his doctrine of technological dominion.
The fact that most of them don’t know Bacon’s ideas doesn’t matter.
I’m pretty tired of talking to them.

“Modern women defend their office with all the fierceness of domesticity.
They fight for desk and typewriter as for hearth and home, and develop a sort of wolfish wifehood on behalf of the invisible head of the firm.
That is why they do office work so well; and that is why they ought not to do it.”

G.K. Chesterton on the man that wishes to everyone

ALT But the fallacy I mean is that of a man who is not even content to love everybody, but really wishes to be everybody. He wishes to walk down a hundred roads at once; to sleep in a hundred houses at once; to live a hundred lives at once. To do something like this in the imagination is one of the occasional visions of art and poetry, to attempt it in the art of life is not only anarchy but inaction. Even in the arts it can only be the first hint and not the final fulfillment; a man cannot work at once in bronze and marble, or play the organ and the violin at the same time.
