This campaign is powered by everyday people like you. CA is becoming so unaffordable that working families — the people who built this state — are being forced to leave. We need politicians who will side with us, not their billionaire donors. DONATE: secure.actblue.com/donate/co…

Let's say that Mark Zuckerberg does leave if Prop 40 passes. The law is written so that he would STILL get slapped with the tax even if he leaves. It's all political theater with these guys. Capital Flight is not real.
BREAKING: Mark Zuckerberg of $META has said he is considering leaving California if it passes a measure that would impose a one-time 5% tax on billionaires, per Bloomberg

EA was bought by a private equity firm a couple of years ago. I need every single chud gamer to hear this: this is what is ACTUALLY ruining gaming—not ā€œDEIā€ or ā€œwokeness.ā€ Private equity wrings out industries for profit—sacrificing quality in the process. Now we won’t get ME4.
EA is shutting down BioWare, the studio behind ā€˜Dragon Age’ and ā€˜Mass Effect’. The next ā€˜Mass Effect’ game has been cancelled as a result. (Source: bloomberg.com/news/articles/…)

Who said it, @ADL??
The term ā€œShylockā€ is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The term was used (for at least the second intent in as many years) by President Trump. forbes.com/sites/siladity… Important context to point out the user of the term regardless of intent.

They will always spend their money to protect their interests.
If California billionaires can burn through $340 MILLION to run ads against paying a billionaire tax, then they can definitely afford to pay a billionaire tax.

For those who don’t know, I’m running against @RickChavezZbur. Unlike him, I’m actively against the genocide in Gaza and don’t take money from the pro-Israel lobby. Zbur on the other hand has taken nearly $100k. I'm also for Calcare, universal childcare, and more. Zbur is not.
I've worked closely with Rick Zbur on bringing the film & TV industry back to L.A. and helping serve constituents, two areas that Nithya Raman has been a no-show.

Schools don’t even have the budget to expand their libraries, supply classrooms with needed materials, or pay teachers better salaries. What makes you think they have money for this?
Trump: "We have 5 states where your child goes off to school as Tim and comes back as Tammy 3 or 4 days later. It's true. And teachers make a decision. 'Goodbye Timmy I love you so much, I'll see you later.' And you say, 'Where's my son? My son is in the hospital.' Can you imagine? They don't even need approval"

Same energy.
Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending ā€œcivil warā€ beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately. Threats and extremism are not signs of strength—they are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. I’ll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.

These NYC apartments are standing empty, not because the owners don't want to rent them, but because rent stabilization laws prohibit them from charging enough to earn back the costs of necessary repairs. My latest for @WSJFreeEx

I hope all the "giving tax cuts to corporations will create jobs" folks will learn that trickle-down economics is a myth. Netflix got a $930M tax break last year -- paid for by large cuts to healthcare, education and nutrition in American history -- from Trump’s BBB.
Netflix has laid off around 1,000 employees. This represents 6% of their workforce - the biggest layoff to date in the company's history. (Source: variety.com/2026/tv/news/net…)

Any Democrat that can’t say ABOLISH ICE and FREE PALESTINE will never be the Democratic nominee for president. The days of AIPAC buying Democratic candidates and elections are dead and gone.
Sen. Ossoff on aid to Israel: ā€œIsrael had every right to go to war against Hamas after the despicable October 7th terrorist attack. I also believe that it is right for U.S. senators to ensure that American laws and international laws are being respected by those who fight with our weapons.ā€
