After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI?
I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev
• 20-200x faster
• 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free)
• Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions
AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

The big lesson from AI is that everything is code. A slide deck is code. Design is code. That cool promo video? Code. Excel automation? Code. The universe? Probably made of code too.
I’ve been lately experimenting with spec-to-code techniques (C4/PRDs/ARDs), What surprised me: many medium-scoped projects deliver strong results through iterative agent conversations, without overly complex specs. Matt Pocock’s here lists some core principles, I’ve found genuinely practical: youtu.be/v4F1gFy-hqg?si=AcVr…

This is a must read on the necessary stack for the agentic economy
“The company that wins it will not look like a model lab. It will look like a market operator: part exchange, part payments network, part identity provider, part trust infrastructure, part governance platform. In other words, less like OpenAI and more like Visa, Moody's, Stripe, Nasdaq, and ServiceNow fused into a single system for software actors.”

Magical OpenClaw experiences that use frontier models cost $300-1,000/day today, heading to $10,000/day and more. The future shape of the entire technology industry will be how to drive that to $20/month.

After @Pinterest @Airbnb @NotionHQ @cursor_ai, today it’s @eoghan @intercom publicly sharing that they’re finding it better, cheaper, faster to use and train open models themselves rather than use APIs for many tasks.
And hundreds of other companies are doing the same without sharing.
Ultimately, I believe the majority of AI workflows will be in-house based on open-source (vs API). It took much more time than we anticipated but it’s happening now!

Very important:
"The USCIS pause on immigration processing for Iran is about to expel thousands of students who are graduating from college in May.
These are F-1 students, who will not be able to roll to OPT, STEM OPT, or eventually H1-B in time unless this pause is lifted.
These are young people who want to contribute to America; who are in school at places like Berkeley, Santa Clara University, and Stanford.
Without lifting the pause, they will have to return to Iran in 60 days. We want these young, brilliant people staying and working in America, paying taxes in America and creating jobs here."
.@realDonaldTrump - a request from the Iranian citizens of CA-17:
The USCIS pause on immigration processing for Iran is about to expel thousands of students who are graduating from college in May.
These are F-1 students, who will not be able to roll to OPT, STEM OPT, or eventually H1-B in time unless this pause is lifted.

Without lifting the pause, they will have to return to Iran in 60 days.
We want these young, brilliant people staying and working in America, paying taxes in America and creating jobs here.
While USCIS figures out the broader timing and implications of lifting the pause against affected immigrants, we request that the pause for students graduating in 2026 specifically be lifted.
I'm happy to engage with whoever from your administration is best for this.
Thank you.

Iranian born founders and entrepreneurs are leading some of the major US companies. We should not prevent more of them from contributing to US economy.

Total token use as a measure of AI literacy is wrong headed.
In my experience, after some baseline, more token use is inversely correlated with competency using AI.

Larry Ellison $ORCL highlighted something critical: models like ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, and Llama are all trained on largely the same public internet data.
When everyone trains on the same information, models inevitably converge. That’s why AI is moving toward commoditization.
The real moat isn’t the model itself. It’s the proprietary data behind it.
Companies that can train on exclusive datasets gain an advantage competitors can’t replicate.
Having data that no one else has will allow you to dominate your market.
An engineer at Anthropic wrote a spec, pointed Claude at an Asana board, and went home. Claude broke the spec into tickets, spawned agents for each one, and they started building independently.
When the agent is confused it runs git-blame and messages the right engineers in Slack. By Monday the agents finished the plugin feature.
That's one example of how the best engineers are shipping software right now.
Developers will soon orchestrate 50 AI agents in parallel and the difference between a good engineer & a great one would come down to specs.
You can't write a spec that holds up at that scale without genuinely understanding what you're building at a deeper level.
The next-gen developer who understands the fundamentals, can architect well and orchestrate agent is going to be a 1000x developer!

NVIDIA just dropped PersonaPlex-7B 🤯
A full-duplex voice model that listens and talks at the same time.
No pauses. No turn-taking. Real conversation.
100% open source. Free.
Voice AI just leveled up.
