I feel bad for the French people. They deserve to have their own country. France should be for the French.

Immigration policy must be driven by the present, not the past, and business leaders are too terrified of the left AND the right to acknowledge this. Recent H1B discourse revolves around a longstanding immigration sleight-of-hand. H1B proponents point to exceptional people who came here decades ago as if they represent the current state of the program in the same way that advocates for low-skill/illegal immigration point to very favorable immigrant crime/welfare/education/etc statistics that do, in truth, have them beating native-born Americans on many fronts. It is all a sham. The world that created those statistics, people, and businesses no longer exists. Brilliant but desperate Vietnamese fathers who fled communism have nothing in common with young men from Honduras, and the crime rates/economic acccomplishments/integration of the former should not be used to justify mass migration of the latter. Nor should the accomplishments of people who managed to get an H1B visa in the 90s (when the program was capped to just 65,000 visas) be used to justify staffing agencies and tech companies using the program to replace American jobs for less money. The obvious abuse going on is politically suicidal and something that even the most ardent supporters of the visa should want to crack down on, no immigration program can possibly survive the obvious and widely known reality of what is going on. I am a longtime outspoken advocate for stealing the best people from other countries to make our own better, runaway abuse of existing programs robs the government of the worker trust required to do so. Lots of people in the tech space know this. Even the dumb people are smart enough to see it. Nobody actually believes these are all incredible people with unique talents performing jobs no American can. Everyone knows the guy in Cubicle Bay 7 doing mediocre but functional web design for half the salary of his American peers is no savant and doesn't meet the statutory requirements for his H-1B visa. Unfortunately, most people with power or profile are terrified that any public statement or acknowledgement will get them attacked by the right (You guys have been screwing over American workers for years with visa abuse, you damn hypocrite!) or the left (You are racist, sexist, misogynist, and sucking up to this fascist administration!). Or, more likely, both. I know too many tech execs in particular who feel trapped, like the only winning move is to stay silent. JD is blowing the whole thing wide open by putting facts and stats front and center that nobody wants to engage with. Critics will talk about anything and everything else but these damning facts and this obvious truth, that H1B visas serve neither their original purpose, legal purpose, invented purpose, or the American people.
Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data: "If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."

Cool stunt. Great hype marketing. Time for me to be that guy everyone hates - It's a scam and this will never ship. The external compressor and cooling system to charge the tank once, likely cost more than the car. A multi-stage compressor and heat echanger setup that would fit in a car, would take several days to the better part of a week of constant running for a single charge. 250kg of 10,000psi air in a composite tank, with all the potential failure points of complex plumbing and valves in a human occupied confined space... If your sphincter didn't just make a diamond reading that sentence, you're not comprehending it. Go ask grok about the physics involved just in compressing, cooling, storing and controlling a compressed air system with these specs, and what's possible with typical industrial equipment. This is just a cool gimmick to pump fans and stock. Id bet money, the car in the demo didn't have a full size battery in it. Wouldn't be surprised if someone isn't currently doing analysis on the video to calculate the vehicles weight. Sorry.

Thank you Vice President Vance and the entire Trump administration for leading the effort to end abuse of our visa system. Congress needs to work to end the H-1B program once and for all. No more replacing the next generation of American talent with cheap labor from overseas.

Vice President JD Vance announces the suspension of the PERM Program for Microsoft: "Thanks to an ongoing investigation, we have decided to suspend the PERM program for Microsoft, which means they will no longer be able to take those H-1Bs and apply for permanent resident status within the United States of America. Now our message to Microsoft and to any other foreign or domestic corporation is quite simple. We obviously want you to thrive in the United States of America. We want people to invest in the United States of America, particularly the American technology sector. We’re the biggest boosters of your industry. We want you to continue to grow and to employ a lot of people, but we want you to employ American workers. And so our message to Microsoft is, you’re great American company, but you’ve got to hire great American workers. You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."

IMO more Bitcoiners should spend more time on understanding that if "digital credit" is developed it will ensure BTC never goes to $1m That may even be the point of "digital credit." But Bitcoiners would be well-served to study "credit gold" that began in London in mid-80s

On October 1, Rep. Suhas Subramanyam introduced a package aimed at making visa processing easier. The centerpiece, H.R. 10715, would let H-1B and six other classes of nonimmigrants renew their visa stamps without leaving the United States. The official record shows it was introduced with Raja Krishnamoorthi, Don Bacon, Deborah Ross, Jonathan Jackson and Hank Johnson. Now follow the lobbying trail - Suhas once sponsored a Virginia resolution literally “Commending ITServe Alliance,” which alone should be disqualifying for service. ITServe says its own political agenda includes higher H-1B/L-1 quotas, streamlined immigration, shorter green-card waits and passage of Raja Krishnamoorthi’s HIRE Act - a bill that would DOUBLE the regular H-1B cap. ITServe’s PAC gave Raja $5,000 and Hank Johnson $2,500 in the 2024 cycle. Raja later addressed nearly 200 ITServe members on Capitol Hill. ITServe hosted Deborah Ross at its Raleigh chapter and ITServe’s own newsletter says it targeted Judiciary Committee members, built relationships and facilitated donations to advance its HIRE Act agenda. Then there’s the India network: Raja, Bacon, Ross and Johnson have documented India Caucus ties; Jackson has publicly identified himself as an India Caucus member. And the RSS/HSS connection is narrower, but it’s not imaginary: Raja spoke at the 2018 World Hindu Congress alongside an event featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Suhas’s latest FEC filings include a $3,500 contribution routed through IA Victory Fund from Ramesh Bhutada, who is listed in HSS records as a national leader. When an immigration-industry lobby openly says it wants more H-1Bs and easier immigration processing, cultivates members of Congress, gives campaign money to some of them and those same lawmakers turn around and introduce legislation making the visa system more convenient, Americans have every right to assume who’s driving the agenda. At some point, this stops looking like ordinary domestic advocacy and starts raising a very obvious question: does ITServe belong on the FARA registry?
🚨 BREAKING: Two Indian American members of Congress @CongressmanRaja @RepSuhas just introduced a bill so H-1B workers can renew visas without ever leaving the US. “BIRDS OF SAME FEATHERS FLOCK TOGETHER” INDIAN anchor babies love INDIANS more than Americans. Proved! This is slow moving coup to replace Americans with foreigners. Good luck passing this bill in Congress!

It’s not broken Mr Vice President. It was designed to destroy American labor markets through tampering. Meet its Architect: @myles_boylan. Myles, JD. @JDVance, please meet @NSF economist @myles_boylan. The Godfather of STEM labor market tampering that, oddly, no one knows.
Vice President JD Vance on H1-B visas: "If you’re going to bring in an accountant making $45,000 a year to replace an accountant who is an American making $60,000 a year, that’s not you using the program to bring in a genius. That’s you destroying American jobs and defrauding the American people... my view is the H1-B program is completely broken."

.@ROCRegional: Show us the numbers. How many residency slots went to H‑1B and J‑1 visa holders? How many American applicants got a fair shot? @POTUS’ EO puts visa abuse under the microscope. If the system is being gamed, we’ll work with @VP’s @WHFraudTF to expose it.
BREAKING: Rochester General Hospital in New York hired 82 resident doctors. 80 are foreign workers on H-1B or J-1 visas. Only 2 are Americans. 98% of the residency slots went to visa workers- mostly from countries with documented USMLE cheating. Americans got 2 jobs.
