Do you know what we need. We need a town hall, where @YvetteCooperMP and treasury sit at the front, and members of the NHS staff who are currently trying desperately to whistleblow or use speak up guardians can say what is REALLY happening out loud, without fear of repercussions. Because at the moment, I am sure she is being told utter bollocks. Total, utter, whitewashed fantasy.

SNL TURNED A WHITE HOUSE RENOVATION INTO A HOME-IMPROVEMENT SHOW. And that format choice is what makes the premise interesting. “White House Makeover” takes the familiar language of property-renovation television and applies it to Trump's plans for the White House ballroom. Instead of treating the subject like a conventional political report, the sketch borrows a format audiences recognize immediately. The makeover reveal. The confident hosts. The promise that a big renovation will solve everything. But the White House isn't an ordinary house, and a presidential building project isn't just another television renovation. That contrast gives the satire its starting point. SNL takes a political story and changes the lens through which we see it. Suddenly, a question about presidential priorities becomes a parody of television's obsession with dramatic transformations.

I note that the billionaire oligarchigal Weston Family who are trying to bring private Healthcare to Canada through the backdoor has now bought Boots to try to bring private Healthcare to the UK.

The European Convention on Human Rights protects our right to a fair trial freedom of assembly and expression the right to participate in free elections freedom of religion freedom from discrimination the right to privacy freedom from torture and degrading treatment WE MUST PROTECT IT NOT LEAVE IT
“We would.. come out of the ECHR and repeal the Human Rights Act and not replace it” Tory Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp tells @SkyNews NOT REPLACE IT! The European Convention on Human Rights PROTECTS US ALL The rights within it – firmly implanted into UK law by the Human Rights Act are the reason why families devastated by disasters like Hillsborough could demand justice, why victims of abuse can seek safety and why disabled people are treated with dignity in care. It grants our right to protest, our right to privacy, our right to fair trials and so much more. WE MUST PROTECT IT NOT LEAVE IT

It would be so much easier to fix the NHS by employing enough well-trained DOCTORS & NURSES, simplifying administration & increasing accountability, than it'd be to create a superior INSURANCE-BASED SYSTEM, but we live in a country where this will simply not be allowed to happen.

An ACP costs more than a locally employed Dr, yet has zero medical qualifications, so why are we ring-fencing funding for these roles, rather than for qualified Drs?

Imagine 2 people at the summit of Everest. Group A have spent years developing the knowledge, skills, judgement and physical ability needed to climb it. They have trained, gained experience progressively, accepted responsibility for their decisions and actually made the ascent.

We don’t want it. We want more GPs who are actually trained doctors not pharmacists, paramedics, physios, HCA etc cos playing doctors. Stop letting @iealondon and corps decide policy to destroy and privatise the most transformative policy of the post war Labour Govt. Shameful
We've all been there. You wake up feeling unwell, try to get an appointment, and before you know it half the day has disappeared. When you're sick, the last thing you should be worrying about is how you're going to get the help you need. That's why we're expanding Pharmacy First. The idea is simple: Qualified pharmacists can assess patients, dispense medicines and prescribe treatment for a range of common conditions, helping people get care quickly and close to home. So you don’t have to go to hospital, and you don’t need to book a GP appointment. Just walk into your local pharmacy and get the treatment you need right there, right then. These services make a huge difference, especially for older people and those who are vulnerable. That's why we invested a further £340 million in community pharmacies, including to deliver Pharmacy First. Six million consultations have been delivered since the launch of the scheme. GPs and NHS 111 have referred three million people to their local pharmacy. And pharmacists have provided more than three million urgent medicine supplies. We’re making it possible for qualified prescribing pharmacists to treat five more common health conditions this autumn, like migraines and ear infections, so access to treatment is easier than ever. And what we’re announcing today will make it easier to see a GP for those who need it. I know how hard our NHS works, how much pressure staff are under and how tough it can be for people to access the care they need from my time as Health Secretary. And I know things have only got tougher in the last 15 years. As Mayor of Greater Manchester, I saw firsthand how important it is to put more firepower in the frontlines and give people more control over their own lives. Every place and every person matters. So we’ll make sure people can get the care they need, where they need it. That’s what this is all about. Faster treatment. More services. Better care for patients. And less pressure on hospitals and GPs. One less headache for people to worry about.

💯 this👇🏼 People need to ask themselves WHY @DHSCgovuk are willing to pay just about anyone (Pharmacists/ANPs/ACPs/Paramedics/Physios/OTs…) to see undifferentiated patients inadequately/unsafely etc, BUT REFUSE TO FUND the employment of 1,000s of under & unemployed GPs? WHY❓
The service provided by your GP has been deliberately defunded, fragmented, downgraded and down-skilled. Money only flows to facilitate corporate profiteering. 'Care closer to home' is selectively apllied to justify hospital downgrading but not when GP surgeries are forced to close. The sociopaths enforcing the Americanisation of healthcare are NOT your friends no matter how convenient their lies may sound.
