Why? When it is an established fact that many on UC are better off than working people not on UC. The UK governments since Tony Blair has been manovering a society to work less & less by giving handouts. No wonder the country is bankrupt.

Here's the Founders Relief consultation - forget being eligible for 10% tax under the new rules. The hurdle is crazy high. If you run a small business and were hoping to cash in, say for £1m to £5m, then you are on the old BADR, and that relief has just been halved. 18% for the first £500K. Labour's proposals are not pro-business at all. They are embarassing. assets.publishing.service.go…

💔Afghan women are not giving up, but they are running out of options.
The world must act now, before the last light of hope is extinguished.
For more than five years, Afghan women and girls have been systematically excluded from society, denied education, work, and their basic rights.
Please, share their stories and keep talking about Afghan women. The world must not remain silent. 💔

Two tier justice? Paedo police escapes prison
A serving Metropolitan Police officer who paid to access a portal containing sexual abuse material involving children as young as one being raped or sexually tortured was handed a 10-month prison sentence, suspended for one year.
Darren Hourigan, 51, of Tooting initially denied knowledge of the material and suggested he might have been hacked.
Hourigan served in the Met’s South Area Command Unit, covering Bromley, Croydon and Sutton. Investigators linked two email addresses attributed to him to a portal containing 3,490 videos and 295 still images. Its folders included material labelled “baby” and “1 to 5”.
He eventually pleaded guilty to three counts relating to indecent images of children. At Kingston upon Thames Crown Court, Judge Barklem imposed the suspended sentence, meaning the officer avoided immediate custody despite admitting the offences. Hourigan was suspended from duty and later resigned from the force.

Please help Xara sister
This is from her . Thank you "Hi, ny sister Xara has now been missing for 5 days and we’re absolutely beside ourselves with worry.
We last heard from Xara on the 22nd October and have had no contact with her since.
She is believed to have been in Liverpool but also has connections to Glasgow and Inverness.
We also have no idea where her dog is, which is adding to our concerns for her welfare.
Police Scotland and the Merseyside Police are currently investigating her disappearance and we’re desperately hoping for some answers.
We are asking absolutely everyone to please share this post. Even if you are nowhere near these areas, you never know who might see it or have information that could help us find her.
If you have seen Xara, know where she might be, or have any information whatsoever, please contact Police Scotland immediately.
Xara, if you see this please know that we love you so much. We just want to know that you are safe. You are not in trouble. We just want you home. Thank you" PEOPLEDOCARE

Our patriotism was labelled racism. Our masculinity was labelled toxic. But when it comes to fighting in a foreign conflict that has nothing to do with defending our own country, suddenly those same qualities become useful. Suddenly, we're expected to be willing to sacrifice our lives.
While refugees fleeing war can find safety in Britain, ordinary Britons are being asked by their own government to consider whether they would be willing to fight and die in a foreign conflict.
Who wants to fight for a country they no longer recognise? 48% said they would not fight for Britain under any circumstances.

You don’t have to look okay to deserve support.
Flashbacks, panic and heavy thoughts can make the world feel frightening and overwhelming. They can leave you feeling isolated, but they do not mean you are broken, weak or alone.
Take a slow breath. Give yourself a moment. Reach out to someone you trust and let them sit with you through it.
You matter. Your feelings matter. Support is closer than it feels.
If this message could help someone today, please share it. You never know who needs to see it.
