Bioware is pulling a Barhve for releasing crap games.
"For more than 30 years, BioWare has been more than a studio. It has been a home for storytellers, developers... who brought our worlds to life."
>Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk were 2 of the 3 cofounders and joint CEOs of Bioware, and had left the company in 2012.
James Ohlen, the lead designer/creative director of Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, Dragon Age Origins, & SWTOR, left in 2018.
BioWare is one of a DOZEN Ships of Theseus within the games industry.
"Baldur's Gate"
>Lost the license to Larian Studios
"Neverwinter Nights"
>Lost the license to Beamdog
"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic"
>now owned by Disney
"Dragon Age"
>Dead
"Mass Effect"
>Dead
"Anthem"
>Dead on arrival
>No mention of Jade Empire
"Now, after more than three decades of shared adventures, BioWare is closing"
>Dragon Age Inquisition was the last great success for BioWare... IN 2014. From 1997 to 2014, Bioware released a game around every 2 years. From 2017 to now, Bioware has released Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, and Dragon Age Veilguard, which were total failures, and the only success being the Mass Effect trilogy remaster in 2021.
Bioware has been a joke for almost TEN of those thirty years.
"Our focus right now is on our incredibly talented team who put their hearts into these games"
>If your "incredibly talented" team wrote better stories and released games that didn't need 15gb patches in the first week, you'd still be in business.
"What generations of BioWare built together is something to celebrate and remember. These games became so much more because you played them, debated your choices, fell in love with the characters, and made these worlds your own."
>Almost ZERO founding staff had ANYTHING to do with Bioware's output since 2014. During the company's peak creative years they had a staff of 50 to 150.
Andromeda, Anthem, and Veilguard were each developed by 200 to 300 people and all three flopped. YOU ALL DESERVED THIS.
this is truly sad, I hope that someone out there maybe @XBOX and @asha_shar can rescue @Bioware since that's where I got my first and best experience with #Bioware. If not, I'd love if @larianstudios could at least take a look at acquiring Dragon Age, one could hope

BioWare hasn't made a good fame that was profitable in over a decade.
This is what happens.
lol Your country's a shit hole filled with violent criminals, organized crime, and major inequality tied to the legacy of its free-market model and unfulfilled constitutional reforms, dude.

I gotta be honest here, if Dragon Age VG was a hit Bioware would probably still be working on a New Mass Effect still. And we all know the one reason DA:VG didn't sell. It wasn't just a little progressive. It was a full on fuck you to anyone that wasn't progressive.

Or how about fuck the stupid retards working there that gave us slop like Veilguard? That disgraced a franchise? Also you know EA fired all the OGs YEARS AGO after ME3 and replaced them with idiots. Bioware died after ME3. You know nothing.

Lmfao that is exactly why bioware went to shit. Good riddance. Sucks to suck.

sucks to see such a impactful company go out like this

I mean, @bioware earned it. You rarely see such dogged dedication towards tanking a company. A lot of companies will slip up and succeed once in a while by pure accident. But Bioware started from everything and tirelessly worked to build themselves into a tax write-off. Congrats.

We all played the mass effect trilogy before BioWare went boring and gay

Jajajajaja eres la prueba de que Bioware debía desaparecer.
