Look at all those activists dressed as placards...
It seems to have been a struggle to find volunteers to fill the room for Reform UK’s pre-Budget announcement today. Watch now on @GBNEWS.

Higher inflation isn’t just driving up prices, it’s increasing the benefits bill. Either way, it’s working households who end up picking up the tab. Conservatives will cut the benefits bill, protect those who need help and get Britain working again.

The government are all over the place on defence spending. I don't think Andy Burnham realises he commits to spending 3% of GDP on defence by 2030 in this interview...his Defence Secretary won’t even make that commitment! When the government are saying Britain needs to be ready for war in 1000 days, hitting a defence spending target in 2035 is too late. Getting to 3% by 2030 means spending the money to be ready NOW, not in 9 years time.
‘You’ve just spooked everybody by saying stockpile…what are you doing to invest in defence?’ Susanna Reid challenges the PM on whether he will hit the defence spending target of 3% of GDP by 2030. Andy Burnham insists his government ‘will’ hit the target. #defencespending #andyburnham #defence #budget

This is simply retail politics. Burnham dangles a nice juicy worm in front of Lib Dem oriented remainiacs, catches him some more voters to boost his poll numbers. But won't change anything because he's holding angry redwallers off with a chair.
NEW There is some confusion over Andy Burnham's position on Brexit Earlier this morning: Reporter asks: "Will you allow the UK to join the EU freedom of movement without a referendum?" Andy Burnham says: "No. And I wasn't saying that", adding that he would "never move ahead of the British public when it comes to Brexit". 11.30am Lobby briefing: Number 10 will now not say whether the British public will get a referendum on rejoining EU freedom of movement. A spokesman says: "The process will be set out in due course ... He wants to have an open debate about this.... there are no options on the table." What do you think? More now on @GBNEWS.

Lucie Kon is an Oscar- and Emmy-winning documentary maker. Since she is Jewish she has been hounded out of the BBC, who paid some £400,000 compensation to her. The BBC is a cesspool pit of Jew-hatred. They wanted her to empathise with the October 7th Hamas terrorists. And this organization is busy poisoning the people’s minds. I think it’s now time to scrap the licence fee. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

Despite what we already know and suspect about the BBC this is jaw dropping.
The BBC has agreed to pay £400,000 to an award-winning Jewish documentary-maker who alleged she was subjected to antisemitism and pushed out of the corporation after October 7. Lucie Kon, 57, spent 22 years at the BBC and worked on programmes including Panorama, Today, BBC Breakfast and Storyville. Films she commissioned or helped produce won an Oscar, Emmy and Bafta. Kon says her treatment changed dramatically after the Hamas attacks. She alleges colleagues described Zionists like her as “evil”, argued that Israel should be called terrorist if Hamas was, and told her to consider what had driven Hamas to carry out the massacre. When she proposed a documentary about October 7, Kon says she was told she was “too partial” to oversee it because she was Jewish. She subsequently filed a formal grievance, but a BBC investigation rejected her complaint. Kon says she was then kept away from work for months. During a restructuring, her position was made redundant and she failed to secure the similar role replacing it. She launched unfair-dismissal proceedings. The BBC has now agreed substantial compensation, reported as £400,000, without admitting liability or accepting that Kon suffered antisemitism. Kon says Jewish employees still at the corporation continue to face hostility and feel unable to identify openly as Jewish or Zionist.

Hamas could kill 10000 tomorrow in Gaza and not one demonstation would be held. The left do not really care about Palestinians at all. It is an Islamist / Maxist alliance to undermine, weaken and then destroy Israel.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this evening outside Phoenix Cinema to talk to people going in to watch NAZA. All we asked of viewers was to be open-minded enough to watch the alternative view. We shared a leaflet with a QR code to find the free film. Many people took the flyer and said they would watch the documentary, but some rejected the idea outright, deciding ahead of time that it would be 'all lies'. And of course, as is increasingly the way nowadays, the venue called the police. Reassuringly, the police had no problem with our presence and many customers were prepared to take a leaflet and keep an open mind. If you are also prepared to consider all sides, then please watch and share the video at the link below. nazadocumentary.com/

This is disgraceful stuff from Sky. He is talking about Arab Israelis - and he calls them Palestinians - even though this is neither their national status - nor self identity. It dismisses truth and facts - in order to sell a Hamas narrative. DELETE IT xitter.cf/SkyNews/status/2114241…
Could Palestinian voters tip Israel's election? Sky's @adamparsons looks at whether Palestinian citizens of Israel can turn their votes into meaningful political influence in this week's election

Too partial to oversee an October 7 film because she's Jewish. Try that sentence with any other minority.

Part of a post from Kemi. I agree he is a man of no substance at the moment. And I’m not sure it’s going to ever come before a GE while he concentrates on being ‘liked’. “And while television appearances, pub videos and TikToks with influencers like Bus Aunty may cultivate the image of a man in touch with ordinary life, they also create the impression of someone who is already enjoying the pleasures of retirement after achieving his goal of becoming prime minister. The truth is he has barely begun the most demanding job of his life. Perhaps the prime minister knows exactly what he is doing, and perhaps the coming budget will demonstrate that there is a coherent plan behind his announcements. I would be delighted to discover that my concerns are misplaced (I’ve got a mortgage too). But when I look at his use of time, listen to his answers in parliament and consider the scale of the problems facing the country, I worry that Burnham has yet to grasp quite how serious the job he has taken on really is. The public should be worried too.”
