Reformers are really upset that no one is taking Robert Jenrick's speech seriously and are far more interested in the empty room he delivered it to. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

"Brilliant Speeches" to an empty room. You really are going to have to try harder than that! How does third place feel?

Looks like the Reform membership is "superficial and uninterested" to me! ๐คฃ

Look at all those activists dressed as placards...
It seems to have been a struggle to find volunteers to fill the room for Reform UKโs pre-Budget announcement today. Watch now on @GBNEWS.

Except it is completely untrue. Both goods and services exports to the EU are up. God only knows where she got her numbers from. ๐คทโโ๏ธ

The problem was THAT manager not Wetherspoons policy.

Higher inflation isnโt just driving up prices, itโs increasing the benefits bill. Either way, itโs working households who end up picking up the tab.
Conservatives will cut the benefits bill, protect those who need help and get Britain working again.
He made out the poppy ban was specifically Wetherspoons policy and that was what went viral. It is not and has never been policy.

Wetherspoon has today confirmed: "Wetherspoon has been a long- standing supporter of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, with poppies for sale in our pubs, including the Star. There is no ban on poppies in Wetherspoon pubs."

Lots of empty seats at this Reform press conference
Pretty much entire audience (except journalists) has been moved behind the stage and even that stand isnโt full
At least one party aide is filling it out

The only reason it wasn't worse than that is there's an automatic shut down of their exchange at 10%.

The government are all over the place on defence spending. I don't think Andy Burnham realises he commits to spending 3% of GDP on defence by 2030 in this interview...his Defence Secretary wonโt even make that commitment!
When the government are saying Britain needs to be ready for war in 1000 days, hitting a defence spending target in 2035 is too late. Getting to 3% by 2030 means spending the money to be ready NOW, not in 9 years time.
โYouโve just spooked everybody by saying stockpileโฆwhat are you doing to invest in defence?โ
Susanna Reid challenges the PM on whether he will hit the defence spending target of 3% of GDP by 2030.
Andy Burnham insists his government โwillโ hit the target.

You repeated the "suitcases of watches" claim in two places against two different people years apart. Did the exact same thing happen twice or is this a mistake?

Hey Guterres, why didn't you mention the main obstacle? That'll be Hamas. Hmm? Why?

This is simply retail politics. Burnham dangles a nice juicy worm in front of Lib Dem oriented remainiacs, catches him some more voters to boost his poll numbers. But won't change anything because he's holding angry redwallers off with a chair.

There is some confusion over Andy Burnham's position on Brexit
Earlier this morning:
Reporter asks: "Will you allow the UK to join the EU freedom of movement without a referendum?"
Andy Burnham says: "No. And I wasn't saying that", adding that he would "never move ahead of the British public when it comes to Brexit".
11.30am Lobby briefing:
Number 10 will now not say whether the British public will get a referendum on rejoining EU freedom of movement.
A spokesman says: "The process will be set out in due course ... He wants to have an open debate about this.... there are no options on the table."
What do you think? More now on @GBNEWS.
