Not the only way to go. We surround Knepp and have every wild species they have and always have had from before rewilding AND we produce lots of food from a diverse landscape for a fraction of the public money.

Farmer 'heartbroken and furious' after 16 lambs killed in dog attack
Significantly tightened legislation seems to be doing little to prevent free running dogs attacking sheep in Scotland.

Farming being chased out by #development. Poignant moment realising that I will be the last person to undertake a farming activity on this land. Hedges being removed & soil stripped while a barn owl hunted, and yet its farmers doing the damage? What's the end game plan?

This poem by Don Merrell sums up what I wanted to say this farm safety week much better than my own words. Please look our for each other and don’t be afraid / shy / embarrassed to say something when you see an unsafe situation #FarmSafetyWeek – at Bigbury-on-Sea, England

I was talking to @ADMAgriculture a few days ago about the state of the UK rape crop. I was saying how much is going backwards due to larvae, how much has been pulled up and how many farmers have reduced or stopped growing it. They didn’t agree so Twitter, please do your thing.

10%Pulled up autumn 2018

It’s not everyday you explain the intricacies of a quality silage to a member of the Royal family!
Talking to the Countess of Wessex was part of an excellent day with @WcaShow and local secondary schools looking at farming careers, cow nutrition, breeding and welfare.
